So I followed the instructions you provided and did everything correctly as you showed here in your video. Im still having issues with armor mods. When I install them, The helmet, gloves and jetpack all appear and are visible on my character, but the armor is completely invisible. no clue why. Ive been trying to figure this out for awhile but with no luck. Any tips?
Good show, verified everything is correct but no dice, I'm using Steam, Game v.86 currently using vortex and in the past used MO2 but still same issue, I can run bat files all day long and they work, using a batloader file. But when it comes to plugins and .asm files no dice either. I'm putting mods aside on starfield with the hope for a fix after the CK is release and modders can start working on stuff. Ayo after multiple hours of searching on my own for fixes and tutorials last night, the better part of a day to be honest, I ended up giving up and getting on with the game. Just decided to look into it once more and stumbled over this video, and in 20 minutes I was taught something that no one on nexus ever thought to mention, that being how to make and where to put the plugin.txt file. I have Vortex. Some of my mods did not work, like Earth Restored, Easy Digipick and Outpost Construction Expanded. All others, like LEDFlashlight, some hairs, work very well. I followed your instructions, everything got work, now the game won’t even start. While I was following your instructions, I tried the game (after every mod). Everything was ok until I installed the last mod and dragged the folder DATA into Program Files (x86). I think I’ll uninstall the game, uninstall vortex and all the mods and start from the beginning, give it another try. But if you have any hints, please… Tks!
Try installing baka disable my game first and move your data folder from my documents to your starfiled main folder befor you install other mod first that might help
this video helped me understand it a lot better but what do you recommend doing whenever a mod youre installing will work when the file is in the folder but breaks every other mod you have? im running into an issue where if i put the mod i want in the data folder it break the other 2 mods i have. but the moment i take it out the other mods work again. all just from moving the one file out. the file thats breaking the other 2 will work but the other will not. its a confusing situation. any ideas or fixes you know of? thanks.
That sounds more like a fike conflict where the mod that is breaking your other mods are trying to Shar the same files. What mod are you trying to use that is effecting the other 2 what what are those mods names?
@@noahtiedtke3249 So the contraband mud and the richer merchant mud seem to be conflicting with each other So you're going to have to have one override it and see if that fixes the problem if not they're gonna have to choose between 1 of the 2
@@360Edubthe spank bang ones in google 😂 but I figured out the clutter begone. For some reason my vortex won’t pickup plug-ins at all. I’ve done the plugins.txt with the hashtag and ram files but nothing works I’m thinking maybe my plugins file is in the wrong spot? Idk
@josephscarlet4282 if you install the baka disable my games mod you then move your data folder from the my documents section and put it in your main akyrim folder section and let it over write eveything then make sure the hashing tag it at the very top by itself in the plug-in text file then make sure the the mods that have an esm file are listed in that pluges text underneath the hash tag and remember you need to have an * at the start of evey esm entry in that plug-in text. For example if you install a mod called "better guns" mod. If it has an esm witch you can find out if it does by clicking the check files link from each mod download page from the nexus. If the esm files say " betterguns.sem" then you need to put in your plug-ins text " *betterguns.esm " without the quotes making sure the Asterisk is befor even esm entry

Have you installed baka mod I mentioned and did you move your data file from my documents to the data folder in your starfiled main folder?

I cannot get esm file names to copy into my plugins.txt in notepad. Cant get any of them to work at all
You can't copy them? Just type the name in manually. That should work

@@360Edub the one I’m trying to use is High Value Contraband and it’s effecting Richer Merchants and Ultimate shipyards unlocked.
