stressing no stress i confess is a test of on my quest for the rest of the oldest and best. i should lighten up on the GAS. tyvm for the review and the guest!
Not having a Nikon Body this lens that I got in a box of bits has been sitting in a drawer for years but when I got a Nikon D200 I popped it on not expecting much having seen some poor reviews, well I was surprised because shooting at F8 I've got some really pleasing results
Bought this without knowing much about lenses since it was cheap and fit with my N80. I think it takes pretty good pictures at least as good as my ability allows haha.
Can someone help me..I have this lense, but it only can be use if I put it on f22 on the lens ring, i have old Nikon D3300. If i rotate below f22 it stated 'Lock lense aperture ring at minimum aperture (largest f/-number) *sorry for my bad english
Thanks for inviting me to contribute Marco! It's definitely a fun little lens.
Thanks to you!

@@MarcoAries here's to hoping you get the chance to review the pentax 200mm f2.5. I can't find an 200mm any faster that is not 10x the price.
@@seoulrydr That would be a nice lens to find and add to my Pentax kit!

People like to hate on kit zoom lenses, but they get the job done
Nice review. This lens is already sharp at F/5.6, no need to go for F/8 but only if you need that deeper depth of field
Yup, true!
Seems to be not the best performing lens but has that nice vintage soft lens look. I like mine, it's versatile and cheap and has a unique focal range.
Indeed, it does have a pleasant look!
hi, do you have any experience with shooting video with this lens? Does it have distance scale for hyperfocal setting? thanks!
It doesn't have an hyperfocal scale, no.

It might not be the fanciest lens, but it works fine and image quality is sufficient and that's all that matters!

I personally have no idea, hopefully someone will be able to help you
I have the same issue with mi D3200, did you find out how to fix it?
Does it work with D5300?
I don't know for sure
works but without AF, since the 5300 doesnt have a motor in it
