Mercedes-Benz 190D OM606 Project Introduction

Just a before video /walk around of a 190D that is losing it OM602 and automatic transmission and gaining a OM606 with a 5 Speed manual.
Currently it has the Stock NA OM602 with about 80hp the goal is to swap a OM606 into it with A SLK230 Manual transmission with a BW S200 Turbo hoping for around 400-450hp once done

Sweet I'm glad you got one since its already diesel will make the swap way easier for sure. That whole starting part with the guy was awesome he was a good dude. Also just to put into perspective Im running a NA 2.5 602 (out of a 190 too) in my 124 wagon. 7.5mm pump...making 30psi with a 605 stock turbo (you can get a factory manifold with the triangle flange for it) and i have a 6speed behind it...thing rips. Even the Na 602 is worth keeping over a 603 id say just so nice, small..easy to work on. I just did a headgasket an bolts, didn't even get it machined and its been super reliable.

Great buy! I love the white + mercedes tex facelift, my best friend has the same spec except his is 2.3L 8v instead of OM602
