Mad respect for that guy. Those waves are ruthless and beat the shit out of him every time. All the so-cal "surfers" who are disrespecting this guy are not real surfers. A real surfer loves the art of riding waves and doesn't care how that person rides. Personally, the only reason I prefer bodyboarding to surfing is because I feel closer to the water that way.
el presidente Okay, but, with the mental capacity you obviously don't have, laying down would be a problem for you. Anyway, what you said is like saying "football is easy cause you just catch and run." So what if its easier than surfing, this guy is getting physically fucked by each wave hes catching. But, judging on your personality so far, you probably don't get fucked very often. Go ahead and reply, we both know you have never caught a wave nearly as dangerous, so go back to that lake you call a surfing spot.
el presidente Funny thing is i have caught waves like that, if you have ever seen pipeline then you might have seen me. Your probably a weak piece of shit because of they way you diss people who put thousands of hours training for the sport they love. I didnt say he is skillful because of him charging this spot like a fucking titan. If you think no effort is required to go wave after wave in near deadly conditions, you're a special kind of idiot. You say im crying yet you're the one who's bitching because he isn't standing up. The people who play in both sports have extreme talent, but you wouldent know what that is as your too busy playing table tennis thinking you're hard. You can keep talking and see how much talent it requires to get up after i tackle the literal shit out of you. Just to give you a piece of you're own medicine, anyone can kick a ball ;). You are making yourself look like a complete tool.
el presidente We both have been throwing insults. don't act all surprised when i get pissed at you for dissing a person with much higher skills than you. You have a fucked up view of skill if you think skiing, snowboarding or skateboarding require such a large amount of skill. i agree that baseball and ice hockey are pretty easy, but, not basketball. i dont expect you to know what skill goes into that, since you have none. Pretty much everyone who surfs can do those other board sports. Since were talking about the sports were doing ill tell you mine. I do Wrestling, Karate, Surfing, Body boarding, Basketball, American Football and even soccer (or European football). If you do sports for a school thn you know whats strings are. in Basketball, football and soccer i came in 1st string. I know what real skill is. It took me 2 days to learn how to skateboard, an hour each day. 1 hour for skiing and basically no hours for snowboarding. i don't do the winter sports often though because of where i live. I understand its your opinion, but its like if someone told me they wanted to vote for Donald trump. you're opinion showed me how flawed your logic is. Btw if you know anyone in america besides me tell them not to vote for him. I guess this is the end of this petty dispute. Have a good day.
el presidente its called an exaggeration dumbass XD. And yeah, i do play all those sports. never said i was nfl and nba at the same time. just said i played them and were good at them. obviously i didnt learn to skateboard in 2 days, but i learned it way faster than almost all the other sports i play. Also, i dont play baseball. If you put some time and effort into your life to play sports, my achievements arent even that hard to accomplish. This argument has been transferred into something i dont care to argue about. Heres the facts: i play alot of sports, you probably only know board sports and the guy in the video deserves some respect. if your not going to argue about the guy in the video, and instead try to roast me on the belief that im lying about playing sports, im not going to argue. You obviously have no other topics to try and win in. Just stop kid XD.
Thanks man.I was surfing today in New Zealand and this big fat guy on a skid lid got an awesome wave , told him it was sick.Yeh the ocean does not discriminate .Some people are very narrow minded. Thanks bro.
Sick barrels, it doesnt matter if its on fibre, sponge or even wood! That guy got some sick barrels, - be great to see the water shots too, (crazy cameraman)
I don't understand all the hate... Sometimes bodyboarders drop in on surfers... Sometimes surfers drop in on bodyboarders... Big deal. Get over it. Surfing and bodyboarding require totally different skill sets and honestly can't be compared. Why the fuck can't everybody enjoy the ocean however the fuck choose?
Eastern Ireland is where this is shot. Mickey Smith is a great photographer. Love his videos he's made recently... "powers of three" "dark side of the lens"
It's not el Fronton this is a secret reef wave on lanzarote, not even surfed by the locals. This wave has only been surfed by brenden newton, as it closes out on a reef shelf as if it was a shorebreak, it is really dangerous and the worst choice for all the wave options you could have with this sweell direction and offshore winds. Fronton is on Gran Canaria a fellow island of the Canary Islands Archipielago. The wave is no way close too what Fronton looks like, the only similar aspect is the water colour of the Canarian reef waves....
this guy was on a trip with other two. the others got short of money and had to get back, so thats why he is alone with the guy filming and the photographer in the water. this shit is shallow reef and always closing in the end. respect.
The song is Sleep by Haven. Type "sleep by haven" (with the quotation marks) into google, go to the Myspace link and you can listen to it for free. From there, you can click a link to buy it from iTunes. That was the only way that I download the song.
Such a humble nice dude yet still out there charging harder than so many surfer kooks that think bodyboarding is easy he doesnt care hes doing it for the love and doesnt care what kooks think good surfers have respect that bodyboarders charge alot harder on heavy more technical waves that surfers cant surf
Well of course we dont get the same flow as the West coast, all we have help from is Noreasters, and T/storms and hurricanes. The Outer Banks has been really good the past few summers / falls we have had some good waves but when its good we have secret places to go.
it’s amazing how the whole world seems to have surf spots now especially out of brake slabs ... I will be in Donegal in September just for some fun kine ... in my mid60s when we were kids there was only a few spots to surf in the world ... WE THOUGHT... California Hawaii Australia Mexico New Zealand and maybe Central America that was it ... STAY STOKED !
I liked seeing the first part. all experienced surfers know how critical positioning is. Video always makes the waves look smaller than in real life. lots wouldnt consider riding this just due to the nasty end section. Looks like he was well rewarded for the beatings he took. Ball the size of coconuts, keep charging man.
Muito pesada a onda, mas acho que boto pra dentro, na remada, com uma 6"3"..Existe uma grande possibilidade de quebrar a prancha, mas se entra parece teahupoo. HUGE SET!!
Hey man I surf but give boogy boarders full respect especially on gnarly waves and the fact you guys can get deeper and barrelled easier.I think surfers think there is more skill required to stand up.Anyone who enjoys the sea has as much respect as anyone else, except SUP s maybe which are just annoying, lol.
Yea definantly, You're one of the surfers I actuall like. The reason some surfers are a bit cocky is they think like you said ''more skill required to sand up'', which makes some think their top shit. I like you :D
Kudos for hitting that solo fellow bodyboarder. Beats lining up behind chest beaters any day.
Mad respect for that guy. Those waves are ruthless and beat the shit out of him every time. All the so-cal "surfers" who are disrespecting this guy are not real surfers. el presidente Where i live, (hawaii) almost everyone i know can do both better than your dumb ass. Get some respect and come back here.

he's charging hard much respect.
Truly a charger, You got that right
Respect bro! Going out there alone with no-one to use as marker..Salute!!!!!
you know a wave is fast when when even a bodyboarder has problems making a late drop. ups to the rider for sticking with it.
respect to the charger
Great wave! The waves in Nazaré are jealous of this one!
Cheers from Portugal.
Is not in nazare, is the frontón, in canary island.
@@jaimegarcia9408 I don't think that's fronton dude, it doest closeout that fast.
Brave guy ! Respect
Great,video so,beautiful, so,breathtaking, so,peaceful, great music, loved it😎😍😎🤩🙄🤣😋🤣😁🙄.
That looked both harsh and awesome. Respect.
Thanks man.I was surfing today in New Zealand and this big fat guy on a skid lid got an awesome wave , told him it was sick.Yeh the ocean does not discriminate .Some people are very narrow minded. Thanks bro.
that wave is gnarly. he comes out to a straight massive closeout. That guys on another planet.
I've been surfing for 28 years, since I was 10, and the guy in this video is charging. Good shit
simply beautiful!
This guy is just a bad-ass pure and simple. Boogie boatd, surfboard. Body surfing what does it matter.
Brenden Newton, thanks for the advice,I found it in The desert, near Ghost town.
Sick barrels, it doesnt matter if its on fibre, sponge or even wood!
That guy got some sick barrels, - be great to see the water shots too, (crazy cameraman)
WOW, way to grab an edge. Impressive. So much power you have to have the perfect angle at take off or you wash out.
That was sick! I want to see the the water footage shot this day.
I like you. You're one of those surfers who has some dam respect for sharing the ocean. :D
Haha... dif skill set I guess.... body boarding don't require much skill at all vs surfing.
Eastern Ireland is where this is shot. Mickey Smith is a great photographer. Love his videos he's made recently... "powers of three" "dark side of the lens"
@paganviodio
It's a spot called "El Fronton", in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands.
Actually not that secret...
It's not el Fronton this is a secret reef wave on lanzarote, not even surfed by the locals. Jajajaja ni puta idea tienes
@@nahuelnavarro1050 I was wrong but you had 10 years to learn english hermano!
Beautiful, still one of my favorite videos after 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
wow charging this is so sick, good shots and good riding
That looked utterly deadly.
great wave!
Title should read sado-masochistic body border loves barrels and beatings. That my friends is some real dedication.
Thankyou...Each is different. Each respect the water.
If it didnt close out at the end, this spot could really be something. Mad respect to that guy straight charging
It's all about the stoke. Does not matter how you get it. All that matters is having fun. Nice waves.
dude guy has heart I was out this year in Irene out of OC dude not good its the worst to get pulled under by waves that size this kid is good
Body Boarding is more "hands on" that stand up. Both are epic
This looks like a great spot for an injury! You get slammed no matter what, every wave closes out.
+Kyle Johnson I was thinking the same thing aye. They are pretty thick as well. Back-breaking :\
those 5 seconds of barrel glory though :)
They really dont dumbass
@xxkilleroxx This is in a Portuguese island in the Azores
thats crazy! respect.
Fast take off ,super heavy !!
The amount of power in these waves is humongous.
this guy was on a trip with other two. the others got short of money and had to get back, so thats why he is alone with the guy filming and the photographer in the water. this shit is shallow reef and always closing in the end. respect.
this guy kept getting pounded. kudos for going after it over and over
What a wave... It starts off similar to The Box in OZ, then suddenly turns into a Waimea Shorey closeout at the end.
awsome comment man full respect

insane!
that end closeout section would not be fun! ... props for charging solo!
You are right of course, only the biggest waves and the most dangerous conditions.
Massive respect
Such a humble nice dude yet still out there charging harder than so many surfer kooks that think bodyboarding is easy he doesnt care hes doing it for the love and doesnt care what kooks think good surfers have respect that bodyboarders charge alot harder on heavy more technical waves that surfers cant surf
Beautiful..and song please
This guy is a beast! Taking wave after wave of continued beatings! el presidente below would probably run home crying after 1 wave. Funny ass video...
who are the 87 fools that down vote this pit. and this stud going solo sesh.
Nice job replaying the same clip over and over.
I mean whaouu 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Respect
Your a great example of what im talking about
Well of course we dont get the same flow as the West coast, all we have help from is Noreasters, and T/storms and hurricanes. The Outer Banks has been really good the past few summers / falls we have had some good waves but when its good we have secret places to go.
looks like a smaller version of Crayfish Factory -Cape Town, and yeah that part is still the Atlantic

Awesome!
Damn! you have to love being hammered to be a bodyboarder
@MrJhfdb yea i body surf waves way smaller than that and i feel sometimes like they're about to rip clean off.

Hey, i just discovered the name of the song!! Band: Haven. Song: Sleep. Enjoy!!
This is Bubbles en Fuerteventura Canary Islands!!
This is like the a snuff film. At least they were just boogie-boys. (Jokes. Love for ALL stoked folks!)
@fantafan3 when was the last time you saw cyclops filmed from land?
Reef or slab? So meaty
ive never seen a video where the boarder jumps off mid-wave into the wall. does that actually get him through to the other side?
Yep
Respect, difficult to get any speed and not get crushed on the drop in
@looreviews Hows this sound, Ill give you a board and some fins and we'll see if you can surf this wave better.
LOL !! in 0:50 the guy is SWIMMING por his life!!!
Is this vid in 2020 or like 2019?
U stupid lol
U stupid lol
nope. It was taken around 2004
it´s look like El Fronton in Gran Canaria ( canary islands )..
no crowds,,,thats crazy.
so sick!
Is the rider sea bass?
gnarly
They dont hate each other . They just like it better when the others arent around .
