Man, can’t thank you enough. This has filled in some missing arrows to my scratch quiver. I appreciate your formula with teaching. It concise and methodical. The video editing is soo clean. It shows that you are taking a lot of time with these important videos. You are on to something here. Now, how do I get a file of all of those samples you cut up backwards. I’m interested to see how that would be for me! 🤜💥🤛
This is awesome thanks. The hardest part of learning 2 click flare was the 4th sound (the reverse sound) It took me a long time to pronounce the first reverse sound and get the timing for the 5th and 6th clicks.
Quality tutorial - thank you! How are you getting your hand to move so quickly at 4:44 it’s almost one motion? I struggle with the “pinch” to get 3 quick sounds 💨
@@cultrenge honestly your vids are amazing - thanks for sharing! Are you doing fast 2’s ~|~|~~ for your click patterns or triplets ~|~|~ if that makes sense haha? Also just bought a fidget fader to get pinch down! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Yo, mad props on the skills! Quick question though-how on earth do you time combo 9? I’m like 99% sure it’s an 11-sound pattern. It’s got 2 clicks forward (=3), short back (=1), 1 click forward (=2), 2 clicks back (=3), slice (=1), and 1 transform (=1). Playing this combo is one thing, but getting the timing down? That’s a whole different circus act, right? Think we could sprinkle some TTM magic on it? Oh, and remember that epic debate about the delayed 2-click flare? First saw it from Tyra of Saigon on the Scratchlopedia DVD. If we had TTM for that in the DVD, we’d all be timing wizards by now instead of just arguing about the technique, right? 😂 So, any wisdom to share?
Yes, This is an 11-note pattern. And it is indeed difficult about timing, but the key is that the third note of the first 2-click flare and the third note of the back 2-click flare are very short. My question is, what is TTM? I have not seen the Scratchlopedia DVD so I don't know the discussion of delayed 2-click flare. So I can't comment on anything.
@@cultrenge Thanks for the reply! So, "Turntablist Transcription Methodology (TTM) is like this notation system for scratching and turntablism by John Carluccio, Ethan Imboden and DJ Raedawn" (Wikipedia). DJ chile (chilean1 on YT) uses it to explain combos like ox flares, balanced 1-3 flares and many more. There has been this whole debate about the delayed 2-click flare vs. boomerang, and sometimes people still even discuss the autobahn by Rafik. Having TTM for the pattern shifts focus from technique to timing! 😂
@@mister-odpad-bordel It sounds like a great and difficult word, but thank you for telling me! I'm more of a sensory type of scratcher, so it's taken me a long time to get to this point. I think I am better at moving my hands a lot than using my brain.
Some of those combos are NASTY. Clean, very well demonstrated, and really clearly explained. AWESOME Video!
Thank you so much!
I wish this existed in the 90s when I was trying to figure this out. I wouldn't be surprised if u hit a 100k views by september
Yeah, I hope my channel also gradually grow up! Thank you for your support.
Thanks for the new video! I enjoyed that last one. Very clear instructions and great editing. Thanks!
Thanks dude! It takes time to edit the video, but your words are appreciated!

Thank you for your comment! It has taken me a long time to make the video, but I am motivated when I get good comments.
@cultrenge What"s the name of Instrumental & what your number size of the bpm?
Arigato!
I'm gonna try to practice the two clicks since I'm getting better at the one click now.
Comment Arigato!
Congratulations on learning 1 click, and good luck with the 2 click sounds cool too!

Yes! I had the same problem with the fourth note, and it was trial and error. Now we got it!
Beautifully explain and demonstrated tutorial.
Damned right I sub'd, LET'S GO!!!
Thanks for subscribing to my channel! Enjoy the next video!
This video is amazing. Can we get a video for 3 click flare combos? That would awesome!
Thanks man! I’ll try my best!
Thank you.Good tuttorial❤🎉😊
Thank you too😆✨
Superb work ❤❤
Thanks dude!

can i ask what recording equipment youre using? sounds so clear
The video was recorded using an iphone 15. The DJ mixer is numark scratch.
@@cultrenge Are you connecting the mixer directly to the iphone?
Keep making more master
I'll try it👍

Thank you! I'm conscious of pinching as you said. When I was in high school I took a broken crossfader to school and practiced pinching it.

could you do a double time 2 click flare on a marvel pro crossfader?
I have not tried it, but I think it can probably be done. It is more important to be able to do double time 2click flare hand faster than a fader.
Question is that beat at 69 bpm?
Yes! You found it!
we need chirp combos
Oh that’s good idea!
Beat pls❤
Yes!
