Because I've gotten a lot of questions and comments about this lately: Nothing in this video was created using generative AI software. All of the writing and narration was done by me; a normal flesh and blood human being. AI is an excellent tool that should remain a TOOL. Never a replacement for any part of the human creative process. I will never use generative AI in my content. Thanks all!
What I love most about your videos is perhaps the writing, including your delivery *edit* - except when you pronounce the 'h' in 'chasm' tehehehe, just messin bruh - great video as always
Your content is awesome. I think AI is a good way to get into content creation to get a feel for things but eventually own voice and scripts should always be the goal. Also i am wondering how do you capture These beatiful scenes from above in the beginning of the Video?
Actually, the chasm has been repurposed; Garrosh expanded it to build a military hold as can be seen in Siege of Orgrimmar and later in BFA as a training area for Sylvanas' soldiers. They just don't show it in the outside world, but it's canon.
Take us anywhere in Azeroth, i genuinely don't care. Your videos are entertaining and full of lore, and i honestly watch them all, regardless of location.
Man, watching these videos, somehow makes me more bitter and depressed because through extenuating circumstances, I haven’t been able to play this game in 6 years. I just miss this world so much. I miss my characters the storylines, everything. Life really sucks some times.
Same! But I londa stopped during MOP anyhow. But, man! As soon as we settle in our new place, a new computer is fairly high on the list of things to buy. With my desire to play Wow Classic Wrath of The Lich King, and/or Birning Crusade, being very high on the list of my motivation to do so! I miss it a lot! Luckily! Legend of Zelda Tears of The Kingdom, has kept me occupied ever since I got it, and my TOTK Edition Switch, for my early Xmas gifts! It's great if you have a Switch! I highly recommend it! Also! I hope that things have gotten better, and that they continue to impress with each passing day, for you!

Thank you for the content, and the fabulous work, really indulges my nostalgia in the best way! 💛I'd love to see you do something on Stranglethorn, it was always one of my favourite zones and I used to spend hours there! I'll never forget my first time playing WoW. I had been playing Warcraft 3 campaign over n over, my brother finally told me to get WoW to play that expansion that just came out, Cata. I started leveling as a Tauren Feral Druid. Didn't take me to progress top Durotar and as I was walking towards the gates of Orgrimmar Deathwing came flying down and killed me with fire, got a neat lil achievement and fell in love with the game. I miss playing Wow :(
Red soil irl is super fertile. If the Horde could find a decent water source and figure out how to irrigate(im sure goblin bros would) they would become an agricultural superpower.
Love your videos, keep up the good work! A suggestion I would add for future ones would be the lore of Alterac and its remnant the Syndicate. I would bet that some of the newer WoW players aren't aware of the Kingdom of Alterac and what happened to it.
“Allowing the orca to look forward to a bright future for the first time in centuries.” Durotan (Thrall’s father) as a child knew of peace between the clans.
Thank you so much! I use Narcissus to turn off my character model, and DynamicCam go do the rotating shots. Other things are just first person while flying backwards on a mount lol
Thank you! I have the view distance maxed out in the settings with no addons or anything, but Blizzard actually updated the old world with the new view distance tech from Dragonflight! You should be able to get this view too
You do an amazing job story telling with these Lore and Easter Egg videos! I look forward to each video that comes out, and your voice is so professional Sounding! Hard to believe this is a one man channel 😊
sweet durotar has like barrens , mulgore and silverpine forest a ...spirit.. honestly , the times i tryeed alliance i found ashenvale/elf places to ..forcefully 'tranquil' and the human forests a bit ..mhe.. though decent sized with at least a few farms around , suppose the only ''alliance'' lands i realy liked was the dwarfs high mountains hmm... sigh ..how i'd love a wow with proper sized landscapes and the freedom to make some residences and the option to play it lan/single player or sub server.. but that never happen , the blizz that knew what wow was is long gone its classic or bust.
Just a correction. The Orcs don't love Durotar. Not as a place to live. Several have openly voiced their dislike for the place. They live there because it's their home away from Dreanor and it is the safest place on Kalimdor to be aside from Mulgore.
@@pyktukasplays4945Yes, and those are cataloged and known means of pronouncing that word. Not to sound prescriptivist, but do you know of anyone saying Chasm or CHameleon or SepulCHer that isn't simply pronouncing them wrong?
I like races like the Orcs and Night Elves who are able to acknowledge that they’ve done some bad things and need to atone for them. Like The Night Elves just accidentally created the worgen curse thousands of years ago, but the moment that it pops up again they immediately show up to help and do what they can. You won’t see that kind of self reflection in races like the Humans who had orcs in literal internment camps for 20ish years. Or the Man’ari Draenei who did intergalactic genocide to worlds beyond counting but they said they’re sorry and gave Velen a cool rock so what’s past is past.
Honestly, i always resented the whole "settle in a wasteland to attone" and "Durotar is a barren wasteland" story.. I mean, i get it for story purpose, but it's just blatantly untrue. First of all, literally all of Kalimdor south of Ashenvale is wild and untamed. If you look at the continent, Durotar comes up as the least worst option - it's that, or plump the entire Horde in Ashenvale and keep fighting the Night Elves, or squeeze into Mulgore with the Tauren. If your people just went through consolidation, migration to another continent and a war with the Burning Legion - you would want to settle somewhere and start rebuilding, as fast as you can. And second, Durotar is not that bad. Yes, the soil could be better, but it's a coastal region with a mild-hot climate. There is fresh water from the Southfury river, and the red land of Durotar is not entirely resistant to agriculture. Closeness to the sea means fishing and trade, the latter especially important. On a private server i played, Horde goblins actually discovered oil and built rigs off the coast. It's not a land of plenty by any means, but Durotar can work. Human civilization in real histrory has survived in far less hospitable places.
They originally founded duratar in a shitty desert because it reminded them of their home. But with all the retcons it's just because thrall sucks at strategic placement beyond defensive positioning
I like the story they settled on: it being penance for the sins of their people, for which they have more than made up for. It's symbolically powerful, especially now that Durotar is starting to heal.
i never considered Durotar a Peninsula... it has ocean to the east and south but west of it is just a river sepperating it from the barrens. dont think it really counts as a peninsula
I'm glad your not using AI. I followed another channel (not gonna mention name) and I unsubbed when I learn he was using AI. It destroys work for honest creators like you.

Do one on uldaman
FYI, "chasm" is pronounced like "Kas-ym". The ch is a hard sound.
Another great vid! But real quick -- Chasm is pronounced with a K sound, not a CH sound
It depends on your English.
For example, the word "issue" has several pronounciations.
I know only two, ome has a "sh" sound, the other doesn't.
