I recently listened to the episode about music, it was very informative and helpful. Can you do episodes about buying a house in America, riba and on the topic of wadu when it comes to intimacy
You mentioned that amongst your friends, you have some that believe music is forbidden, you have some believe that face coverings are mandatory… After listening, it left me curious if you have non-Muslim friends that you spend time with? Thank you for your beautiful ways of expressing and explaining… I learn a lot form you both. ♥️
I grew up around non Muslims for 30 years, several of my friends are non Muslim.

In Islam, the aqidah (faith main principles) has one truth, but in branch section such as fiqih, muamalah, akhlaq (attitude, modesty, behavior) the truth is various according to scholar intepretation of hadits. And that is an option, that is madzhab. When it diverse in principles, named firqoh or sect. But whatever the intepretation all muslim still has one same qur'an.

It is not written in the Quran. People have interpreted a verse to mean it, others have interpreted it differently.

Thank you for this!! I am not Muslim (yet?😉) and I have had issues that you addressed here with every belief system I have investigated. I am 60 this year and have investigated more than a few. I have always had concerns with the variety of beliefs/teachings that are supposedly from the same source yet are often in direct opposition to each other. Thank you for breaking much of what I have heard down into understandable explanations. There is much we can all learn from the simple yet profound wisdom you have shared in this podcast 🙏🏼
