I feel so nostalgic right now! God I miss the good old days of classic retro games, there sounds and music. It defined a part of what 80's and 90's was all about
Underrated game! Well made in every respects including fair controls / gameplay which is especially nice since the random factor inherent to pinball games can make 'em frustrating & kickass audio, with rocking tunes which greatly fit the Mega Drive / Genesis sound chip + some excellent SFX.
This was an epic playthrough! Nice way for it to end too, with Home Sweet Home! NICE! This was well worth the time and the wait. As I said I've been a HUGE Mötley Crüe fan for decades! I saw them in concert with Ozzy Osborne at the Mecca Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and it was a LEGENDARY SHOW! I also saw them at Alpine Valley at least eight or nine times, maybe ten or more? They ALWAYS put on a show that blew you away! EVERY SINGLE TIME I SAW THEM IT WAS A UNIQUELY DIFFERENT SHOW BUT ONE COMMONALITY, IT F**KING ROCKED! EVERYTIME! EVERYTIME!

This takes me back to my childhood. My uncle got this for me and my parents for Xmas when I got the Sega. Still remember standing in electronics everytime my parents shopped at Wal-Mart or Target. Playing games. Golden Ace, Sonic, and Streets of Rage. Being amazing and having people watch. This is when I really developed my appreciation for Crue. Being an 80s kid I lived for rock anyway; but this was too good. Everytime they release classic packs I look for this and Shadowrun. Nobody ever has them so they get lost to time and forgotten.

Imo The ball in this game has more realistic physics than any other genny pinball. At least of the 16 bit ive played. Naxats have moon physics, Tengen dragons revenge is fast but unpredictably glitchy in moments. Pinball Dreams for snes the camera constantly moves left and right makin it harder to track the ball. Crue motlyfeels like an actual metal ball. It's not perfect, just really good. Guess it was designed by an actual pinball table maker dude guy.
Fun fact: the neighborhood in this game is the neighborhood featured in the 1989 Commodore Amiga "What's a Mother to do?" commercial. What does the Amiga and Sega Genesis have in common? They're both powered by a Motorola 68000.
Dude that level after you "created" the ramp? WTF!???! I owned, actually I still have the game/cartridge in my collection, but I never saw this. OR I was maybe a bit um, not 100% fully conscious or flat out ridiculously trashed? Your channel never fails to amaze me! Either you show things which I never saw or found when playing, or in many cases I just became frustrated and said hell with it, and stopped playing. Now I was able to kick butt on Sonic Spinball, Crüe Ball, and a few other Pinball games. It wasn't until the Williams Pinball games was made that I really got into them. But I always loved Crüe Ball and Sonic Spinball. Both were amazing Genesis games. The TurboGraphx-16 also had a pretty wicked Pinball machine as well. It was called Devil's Crush if I remember correctly? Thanks for sharing these games with us. Seeing them played from the beginning to the end kicks butt! i had this game and i liked it because there are not so many megadrive games with this kind of music, i like the graphics style and the game was easy enough for me to manage beating it. But i still would recommend Devil's Crash instead because it's better in everything.
+Kristina So far as anyone's been able to figure out, the game started out as an original property under the name Twisted Flipper, and it was only towards the end of the game's development cycle that anything involving Motley Crue- name usage, Mega Drive-ized versions of Dr. Feelgood, Home Sweet Home, and one other song I forget the title of- came in to play. Which is probably why the game has shit-all to do with Motley Crue outside of Brian Schmidt's reworking of their songs and a wry reference to the band via the title. I don't think anyone knows why the band/their managers signed on for the license, why EA went for it given the game came out well passed the bands relevence in the mainstream, or even why they bothered when so little was done to even tie the game into the band, but it happened anyway.

Idk who needs to hear this, but if you have a Konami Justifier plugged into player 2, Crue Ball will crash and freeze on the very first frame, but unplugging it before boot it'll work again. This game is too cool, and is all but lost to time. Sound and music was done by Brian Schmidt, who worked on Black Knight 2000!
The intro is so stupid, he's a rebel who plays his music loud at night and wakes everyone up, but as soon as someone shouts "turn that down", he immediately shuts off the music, turns off the lights, and presumably goes to bed. Just folds completely as soon as someone complains.

They had character's that you loved! Character's that you'd follow EVERY SINGLE WEEK! Movies that made you cry, laugh, be angry, cry more, scream & yell, but you ALWAYS were entertained! Now? Historical franchises are being gutted in favor of "agendas", political ideals, Social Justice beliefs and specific interests. It's spread to gaming as well. Remember the original Tomb Raider? Uh-oh! Lara Croft was a BAD BAD FEMALE CHARACTER INFLUENCE! She may have been a strong, powerful, extremely TALENTED and charismatic woman, but EEEK SHE HAD ............. breasts..... she has boobies?!?!? Oooooh nooooooo! Not boobs! A character example that was literally made a fool of. Luke Skywalker's iconic character from A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi became a big joke. He went from a young timid farm boy who met this old wizard, learned about his father, a Powerful Jedi, started his own training to become a Jedi as well. But then Kathleen Kennedy took control. She decided that the Farce was now female, and instead of making it a TRANSITIONAL & COOPERATIVE "TEAM-UP" Luke became a cowardly buffoon. This sane man who ALONE, AND WHO WASN'T FULLY TRAINED, SAW A VISION OF HIS FRIENDS IN DANGER AND LEFT TO GO AND TRY TO HELP THEM! Again ALONE! He faced Darth Vader, the Baddest Baddie, ALONE! Then in RoTJ, he felt his presence was placing his friends at risk? So he left again, ALONE......again! This time, he was facing Darth Vader AND The Emperor ALONE! Just if anything, he could buy his friends some time! But JJ Abrams and KK, decided that he had become no only a hermt but a complete coward AND a man who ALMOST MURDERED HIS OWN NEPHEW IN HIS SLEEP! THIS IS HIS SISTER'S SON! HIS BEST FRIEND'S SON! BUT LUKE SAW THAT HE WAS A STRONG FORCE USER, HE WAS NAUGHTY! His reaction? Kill him in his sleep? Really? HOW, REPEAT HOW DOES THIS EVEN REMOTELY HAPPEN TO BE A JEDI IDEAL? IT'S NOT! My point? That these movies nowadays have absolutely ZERO HEART! These supposed "creators" know absolutely NOTHING ABOUT THE ORIGINAL FRANCHISE CONCEPTS. Whether it be Star Wars or Star Trek, or even classic horror movies! Brian Schmidt did the music for both Crue Ball and Desert Strike.
Proly the same EA sound driver too. Very grindy, American Genesis sound. Road Rash etc..
Many think EA uses GEMS driver but it's actually custom.
