It's one of the titles on Genesis/Mega Drive that makes me feel the most nostalgic about. I'd rented it once and played it with my deceased cousin. I like Super Airwolf with that main soundtrack better, though.
Only major nitpicks: you didn't use the jump enough to get the guns as the soldier or take them out with the chopper, you needed to blow up the barrels as the soldier to get the goodies you passed up on (and a few times you didn't take the stuff even when you did blow up the barrels), and I see you decided to start with the hardest of the three missions in the beginning to get a big cash boost instead of building your way up from easiest to hardest. But that's just minor stuff for the last. Missing out on extra "backup radios" to bring in the chopper's guns not too good. Passing up cash? Not too good. But other than that this is a nice game I want to do MAME with.

This was indeed Super Airwolf in Europe.
And the Super Airwolf version actually features the Airwolf theme instead of generic music.
You wonder if the final mission had a good paycheck to go with it :P
I totally missed out on this game. I like how it takes awhile to beat, too. Most older shooters are over in 30 minutes. Might just download this
