The expansion may had been short but this is one of the best scenes and lines to ever said thus far, even better if your character is a Sith themselves.
Ah, ten years later and every little grunt still thinks he can 1on1 fight the former wrath of the emperor, who in the meantime basically defeated the emperor and is therefore the single strongest being in the galaxy by quite a lot, I see nothing has changed.
I swear to god. You're basically alliance commander and the bloody hand of the Emperor/Empress but this idiot Darth Norok still thinks he can challenge you
The Sith have gotten stronger too. People seem to forget that many of the weaker Sith were killed in Arcann’s reign of terror. He subjugated the Empire and forced the Dark Council to surrender. Most Sith you meet are veterans of the past 5 years and know how to better fight. There’s a reason they survived and why it was such a challenge for even you to fight Zakuul back then.
@@elderliddle2733 I don't know, if I compare Baras and Marr to, say, Savik and Shaar, I think the Sith before KOFTE where way stronger, maybe not as united. Not to mention you can kill both Vowrawn and Acina quite easily, meaning that the new Emporor/Empress cannot be that strong.
Funny thing is, Darth Norok is basically a Dark side player character from the outside, always chooses the dark side/Stupid evil option, talking shit to people who can kick his ass or that he really, really needs, but being a rude asshole and getting away with it anyway... Yeaaaaah, I think bioware might be poking fun at the cliche dark side playthrough with this one.
Wrath: "How dare you make demands of me." Norok: "That was the wrong answer." Yes it was Norok, for you, thinking you can beat the Alliance Commander, formerly the Emperor's Wrath who defeated Malgus, Revan and even the Sith Emperor.

My Sith Warrior said the exact same thing to Norok, and I got chills while I was grinning from ear to ear. Honestly, the Sith Warrior’s voice-actor is one of the best!!!
The dark side choice is literally just a moron move. You kill your own soldiers, can't get kolto offworld, and the occupation would no longer be able to get reinforcements or leave and eventually get killed off
Although I guess if you're trying to guaruntee that the Empire's occupation doesn't turn into an outright conquest, you'd have to take Norok out anyway, and then the Empire's operations would be compromised and crippled by the giant ship shooting at everything. But idk if bioware would go that deep
The Dark side choice allows you to kill Norok Later on in a cutscene with Krovos watching which pretty much shows definitively Where Norok is in the food chain *At the very bottom*
This was perfect moment of "internal reformist". Get rid of this type of Sith in favour of Vowrawn, Acina and Krovos-type of Sith and prove changes in the Empire occured. Not mention that Norok want Manaan for himself, rather than Empire, so he would be another feudal-egomaniac, who will cause division in the Empire.
You'd think people would learn that you can't change our character's mind through a fight by now. We have literally never lost a fight (unless you're lightside, then you lost to Arcann *one* time).
Hated that sequence as a pragmatic Warrior. I used Vitiate's power before to destroy the Skytrooper army, so this time I chose not to seeing as how the fight with Arcann felt easy. I was wrecking him. Then out of the blue I get a cutscene where my character gets impaled by him... Couldn't he have done that earlier if he can just end the fight in a second?
@@JohnCena-le1jj The signs were there. Arcann was constantly ragdolling the Outlander during that fight and would've killed them without HK's sacrifice.

Ya and we are also now hand of the empire, a second empire essentially working directly for the emperor above even the dark council This guy isnt even on the council hes a lackey! We outrank him by so much its not even funny
Honestly think they were wrote to be pathetic and incompetent on purpose. It’s probably leading up the story to the character taking the empire as emperor. The dark council is decimated all the veteran leadership outside of 1-2 people remain and the rest are mostly incompetent. The current emperor made a huge mistake giving back the most powerful force user in the era not only their seat, but their silencer fleet (Inq) along with all their influence in the empire with an entire alliance to back them up. This virtually makes them like Tywin Lannister of the empire and highlights the critical mistakes and naive decisions made by the new dark council and emperor.
I read most of the comments now and it makes me so happy to see we all have a general consensus. There the list goes: 1. This is one of the best scenes and lines in the expansion, if ever, throughout the enitre game for a Sith player. We all seem to have gotten the chills from it. 2. Why the hell the NPCs still think they can actually pose a chance to better the Wrath/Nox, who had defeated the master of all Siths, is beyond any of us at this point. 3.
