  • Located in the serene valleys of Himachal Pradesh, Jibhi is a hidden gem that offers a tranquil retreat amidst nature's bounty.
Situated in the Banjar Valley, Jibhi is known for its breathtaking landscapes, lush greenery, and serene ambiance, making it an ideal destination for those seeking solace away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The key reason to visit Jibhi is its untouched beauty and serene atmosphere, providing visitors with the perfect opportunity to rejuvenate and reconnect with nature.
Jibhi is renowned for its picturesque hiking trails, crystal-clear streams, and charming wooden houses, offering a visual treat for travelers. The town is also famous for its apple orchards, allowing visitors to indulge in freshly plucked fruits and experience the local cuisine.
Adventure enthusiasts can explore nearby attractions such as the Jalori Pass, Jibhi Waterfall , Kulhi Katandi ,Serolsar Lake, Raghupur fort , and Chehni Kothi, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Additionally, Jibhi is home to vibrant local markets where travelers can shop for unique souvenirs and handicrafts.
    1. Kulhi Katandi, also known as mini Thailand. You will have to walk for 250-300 metres towards Jalori pass and start walking down on the right when you see a yellow board of Forest guest house on the left side. Carefully trek down for around 200 metres till you reach the pond where you can take a dip.
    2. Jibhi Waterfall:- The Jibhi Waterfall is hidden inside the forest that cannot be seen until you are well inside the dense forest. The gushing of water flows like music and makes the whole place enchanting. Small wooden bridges are built near the waterfall that provides a picturesque view of the place. So, sit near the waterfall and enjoy the music of nature.
    3. Serolsar Lake, Shojha:- Serolsar Lake, there is a saying that it is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Jibhi, is covered by thick woods secured with pine trees. The lake lies calmly and is a visual treat. The Lake lies in the east of Jalori Pass, which is at an elevation of 3040 meters. It is a small trek of 6 km which begins from Jalori Pass. Trekking is the main choice to arrive at the lake. With loved ones or solo, you can do Jibhi sightseeing here by lounging around this lake or plunging your feet into the water. Serolsar Lake offers a serene retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
    4. Budhi Nagin temple:- The place is better known for its temple devoted to Goddess Budhi Nagin. It is believed that the Goddess has hundred sons and acts as a guardian of the place. The walk to the lake is equally enchanting from Jalori pass, with thick cover of oak trees.
    5. Chaini Kothi (Chehni Kothi):- Built-in the Pahadi style architecture, this 1500 years ancient fort is filled with grandeur. A timber tower that elevates to 40 meters is the best place from where you can see the panoramic beauty of the whole place. The fort even has a secret tunnel underground and you can take a walk through the tunnel to unveil its mysteries. Made using fine timber interlocked with each other, the fort stands tall and is majestic to look at. The fort is converted into a temple of Lord Krishna
    6. 360 View Point: Spectacular Panoramas:- In Jibhi, there’s a special spot called the 360-degree viewpoint where you can see all around you! It’s like standing on top of the world! From this magical spot, you can look out and see everything: the tall mountains covered in snow, the lush green valleys, and the winding rivers below.
It’s a perfect place to take photos and capture memories that will last a lifetime. Imagine feeling the cool breeze on your face as you take in the breathtaking scenery all around you. Whether you’re a nature lover, an adventurer, or just someone who loves beautiful views, the 360-degree viewpoint in Jibhi is a must-visit destination.
    7. Shringa Rishi Temple:- It is believed that Banjar Valley was ruled by Rishi Shringa, the deity of the valley. It is believed that the valley was used by the Rishis as a location for meditation. Several stories hover around the sacred stone found in Skeeran”s forest.
The Skeeran forest eventually became the site of the temple built by the village people. However, traveling to worship became difficult for them. Hence they created another temple dedicated to Rishi Shringa which was built in Bagi village. The newly constructed temple is 12 km away from the old one.
