  • Hi! I bought the coolest turntable/record player! It is the VT-E BT Vertical Turntable from Pro-Ject Audio Systems!
    I could have gotten a traditional turntable/record player from them or audiotechnica as my first big upgrade BUT i wanted something that looks extremely unique and BOLD! :)
    This is not a sponsored post, I bought this with my own money.

    Just a heads up as your collection grows, it may not seem like it but vinyl can get very heavy.

    Thanks, Sarah. I was curious about that phono. Maybe $700 seems high but I'm sure that, if you get better speakers at some point (or nice BT headphones), you'll get more for your money. That turntable probably is being held back a bit & has pretty high sound quality you have yet to unleash! (I splurged on a Pro-ject CD player 2 years ago & enjoy it a lot.)

      Yes! I bought the transparent speaker before the turntable as a cool home decor piece so i definitely will have to upgrade to something better 😊 thanks for your comment! 🫶🏼

    You should get a proper set of hi-fi speakers such as KEF LSX. Also Bluetooth compresses the signal, though you won't notice too much sound degradation with the transparent speaker.

    Thank you again for this vid I been trying to find a good review of this TT I have seen this model before I think it is one of the nice looking TT vertical type players there is there is also a different modelcalled fuse vert that is a vertical type with built in speakers I have seen it it looks nice but sound is not a full sound but it has a magnetic cart but it is way lower in price I have a pro - ject debut 3 TT it is a great TT manual and belt drive they are well made but for 700.00 dollars it to me is too high maybe cause of the bt feature but I believe you were right on the money when u said that it should be priced at 400.00 it is a simple TT I do not like that belt design it should be flat or like you said a channel should be made in the platter obviously there is gravity in play and round things tend to roll compared to flat I also know that U-Turn turntable has a good TT but uses the same stupid belt on their tt and it tends to fall off I am glad I got more intell on this TT did not know they were using a rounded belt to me this was more info on this model that I have gotten this model been out for a while but never found a review on it ,it made me like it more so thanks again JRo

    Hey love the setup,
    Can i ask how you are running the turn table to the speaker.
    I have the same setup but im struggling a little bit.

      hi! thanks!!!! i have just been using them together with bluetooth!
      i bought cables on amazon and they sounded funky and havent gotten a new pair to try out. but honestly, the bluetooth sounds great to me lol.
      if you're wondering how i concealed the wires between shelves, i had just drilled a 1" hole between the shelf board to run wires up in the corner. so its kinda concealed by the records right beside the turntable.
      lmk if that helps or if you have any other q's :)

    Never heard one. Looks cool. I'd probably be okay with $700 as long as it didn't fall apart or stop working the minute the warranty expired.

    Hello Sarah ! I've just bought the same setup as you (turnable and small transparent speakers) but I didn't manage to connect my turnable with my speakers in bluetooth mode with the classic pairing. How did you do it ?

    • @rodriguezsarah
      @rodriguezsarah  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I remember having a bit of trouble at first! What I ended up doing is turning off Bluetooth on my phone (and really turning off any Bluetooth devices nearby) so it would be easier for the speaker to find the record player! I would also suggest making sure the record player Bluetooth is already on before turning on pairing mode for the speaker! Hope that helps 🤗

    I only subscribed out of respect to Sean Frank's ghost tweeter. I left my phone facing down to avoid watching it but let it get counted as a view. But then I faced a bigger problem, I could hear the person. So I immediately put all my cushions on top of the phone to block the noise.

    Take the time and research Bluetooth and how it compresses audio. You are really limiting what is on those records by listening to them this way. Audio is a journey. Enjoy the ride.

    • @rodriguezsarah
      @rodriguezsarah  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      its nice to have the option!!! i also have it wired into the speakers as well. 🫶🏼

      Some will enjoy said journey via wireless speakers and that’s ok. Having the option for both is amazing. Wireless is much more convenient when you want to listen in different parts of the house.

    • @des971
      @des971 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Personal I prefer wireless as they are smaller and take up less space, so as someone who can't have big bulky record players it's nice having other options

    I really don‘t understand the combination of Bluetooth and Vinyl. The whole purpose of having vinyl is to keep the „chain“ from record to speakers analog. The vertical setup is interesting, I wonder how that affects the settings (downforce, azimuth etc.) but I guess it looks interesting while playing.

    Are you in this hobby for asthetics or pleasure of listening your favorite music? Bluetooth connectivity on Turntable goes against the whole idea of this medium.
    you player is fine, invest in wired speakers.

    Give me strength. You would have sounded a lot more credible if you had done a small amount of research. I've a number of belt driven turntables. Never had a belt come off. No great difficulty fitting it on. And they're round silicone to lessen the noise transfer. Like I said 30 minutes looking at other TH-camrs would have educated you a bit more on these small but important issues. 😢

      strength to comprehend when i said i'm a novice? i said in the video i wasn't an expert...so never expected to be a credible source for all things vinyl! 🤗 anyway, thanks for commenting and engaging on my video! hope you can lighten up norman! 🫶🏼

      @@rodriguezsarah Ignore Norman the Boreman. A friend of mine had a Voyd reference turntable worth £50k. Guess what? sometimes the belt fell off.
