If anything happens that will ruin the image or reputation of ADOR, HYBE is accountable and is affected, but overall management, ADOR is independent.

Beside the undoubtedly talents of the members, the genius of Newjeans actually lies in their management (concepts, promotions, schedules, visuals, music videos, hidden messages, to even the design of their lightsticks are well thought out to fit with their future collabs, etc.). Example:
Ex. 1: First mini album, debuting a 14 years old with no pre-release or promotions, fresh concept, mv for all songs, etc., I dont even need to tell you how effective this was to create awareness of the group.
Ex. 2: Next single album, switch to more nostalgia, hidden messages, throwing shades at the end of OMG, etc. This created even more buzz and attention to the groups.
Ex. 3: Release a lightstick with plans to incorporate it in future MVs and collab with meaningful purposes aka the New Jeans MVs that the lightsticks act as a transforming device for them. If you need to be told how genius this is then you are missing the point.
Ex. 4: Second mini album promotion, subtlety include a terrorist organization linked in the teaser but act like its just coincidences, they know the internet will find the connection and create even free marketing for the groups. The controversies are never linked to the members itself so the public cant dislike the group. The way the company understand the public and the internet to their benefits are insane.
Im sure even now there are already seeds planted that will be paying off in the future for Newjeans. This is how well planning and manage this group is. Everything they do seems to have a purposes if not now then it will be in the future. And no one is even talking about it.

Newjeans wasn't even the style of music I usually listen to, but I think as a carefully created product, they're exceptional. And you can see that there are very creative people behind their music, the songs are apparently simple, but I think those hits are even avant-garde. And without a doubt Min Hee-Jin is a mastermind, she's the cherry on the cake of this project, and the reason why I follow NewJeans with interest. I'm intrigued by what the future will bring for this pop band of super talented casting girls 🤔🐰

I've never been obsessed with kpop group since I stopped in 2017 with bts now newjeans have really taken my interest❤
New Jeans is one of the 1st Kpop groups with DISTINCTIVE Swag/style/drip/whatever you wanna call it. Most Kpop groups have a similar sound or something similar but newjeans had a different sound that most didn't... and they were pretty as hell too.
They are NJ the new big thing

I think since NJ is still a young group, they have some time to figure out what works for them and what doesn’t. The underlying success of any artist is talent and creativity as a whole, not just for NJ, but also for the creative team behind them. From the music production, choreographers, designers, visual directors etc, they have to work together as a team to be successful in the industry and they have done just that beautifully. I have so much respect for MHJ for stepping outside of the box and not complying to the standard that is defined by other people before her. Kudos to NJ and all the creatives behind them. Well done. I look forward to seeing more of them 😊👏

Let’s be honest, it’s new to K-pop but not to America. NewJeans is just using early 2000 concepts from pop culture in America. I remember all this girly futuristic stuff from when I grew up in the early 2000. That lady has studied American teen pop culture. So it’s nothing new, it’s just being recycled. It’s nostalgic to millennials and seems new to gen-z, that’s why everyone loves them.
min heejin just takes from western trends and is somehow credited as a genius in korea. Majority of fx's work shes praised for is just random aesthetics from tumblr

She’s using older teenage pop culture so it doesn’t seem like she’s copying because her demographic for New Jeans is gen-z. The further back in years of the concepts they are using the more likely gen-z won’t know where it came from and will think it’s original. A lot of the dances also have dances that were used during millennials time. It’s good marketing because everything is being reused nowadays due to nothing being original anymore. So she’s able to kill two birds with one stone. Get gen-z to think it’s “original” and get millennials to feel nostalgia while listening and watching New Jeans. Nothing she’s doing is original, like you said, she’s just good at marketing.

min hee jin has such great vision for everything, concepts, fashion, angles on photos, etc...
i already loved them as a group. but it was hard to see which one is who at first with the similar hairstyle and look. this comeback though, they decided on distinctive look and certain color for certain members, its a good call and now i fall i love with them individually. also , they managed to brought back Y2K aesthetic and make it fresh.

The only reason NewJeans is on top is their voices, harmonizes, music visuals, and dance. They are using many different Arts in what they are doing. They are making music with their voices, they don't need music to create a beautiful song. How the girls voices complement each other is a work of art and beautiful to listen to. ❤❤❤❤❤

Personally, I grew to really like NJ before knowing MHJ was behind the group. So it's unfair to say ppl only care about NJ because of her involvement. A concept alone cant sell a group. The girls themselves had to be able to sell the product that is NJ with their own talent and ability.
It all boils down to the music as the vid said. That is what ppl like that most. MHJ is the creative genius aka the coach and the girls are the star players actually winning the games. As long as Ador can keep up the quality and consistency of their comebacks, NJ will be ok with or without MHJ direct involvement.
I have to disagree. While the girls do bring in their own uniqueness such as their voice and vibe, if it wasn't for the structure, vibe, and aesthetic of the group, they wouldn't be this popular and all of that was because of her creative directing. I remember people really liking Ditto because of the message behind it, they also loved the music video for OMG. All these things have to be credited to MHJ, because she came up with the concept, managed it in a way to fit the girls and packaged it in a way that people would love.
If you notice on their MVs and own TH-cam show, they barely/never blur out/black tape brand logos but instead shows them. It's like inviting brands that working with NewJeans is the way to go.
