Climbing and Exploring the Ancient Ek Balam Pyramids with My Butterfly Wings!

- Was Excited to take full advantage of my Mexican residency and to go spend the day at EK BALAM (Translates to Black Panther)! It´s free for residents on Sundays. I´ve been here a few times, but never FREE before! And it does make a difference because the pyramids are some of the most expensive public attractions you´ll find- about $30!

This was also the first time I took my butterfly wings and it was SO MUCH FUN! I will NEVER forget the experience of floating down the entire castillo with my butterfly wings in the full Yucatan sun midday!
Word has it that it will not be available to climb anymore starting next year....Thus, I will probably be back very soon!

For those who are not aware, MARIPOSA means Butterfly in Spanish. I identify with the butterfly because it goes through a miraculous death and rebirth process where it becomes an entirely new and more empowered being.
THAT is how I feel about what moving to Mexico solo did for me.
I have truly been TRANSFORMED and elevated internally.
And that also manifests in the physical embodient also.
Thus, my saying to ¨CONTINUE TO EMBODY THE SACRED TRANSFORMATION¨
What I have found is that life demands that I continuously work to EMBODY the evidence that I am changing and growing. It´s not about a one time thing.
It can be DAILY.
And a flock of butterflies is called a KALEIDOSCOPE....

Wow, the Ek Balam Pyramids look absolutely stunning! 🏛 Your exploration with the butterfly wings added such a unique and whimsical touch to the experience. Mexico's ancient sites are truly magical, and you captured that perfectly. How did it feel to stand on top of those ancient pyramids?

You know I first came to this part of Mexico almost 5 years ago and climbed the Coba pyramid...on my Birthday- Sept 6th, 2019......It was AMAZING and a spiritual exprience every time! and since then I´ve been to many...I´ve been to this site like 4 or 5 times now....It´s only because i´ve done it so much, that i even thought of bringing the wings...haha! But it was EPIC! I´m thrilled that I was able to do it while it is still possible to do so. I would encourage anyone to make the effort to do it....

It’s amazing how certain places can become even more meaningful with each visit. Bringing the wings sounds like a fun and unique way to celebrate such a moment!
