I think Meadows walked away because solving the letter she realized the Pact was a lie and there was no hope of leaving the Silo. Whatever she saw in the tunnels validated what she learned. She didn’t tell Bernard because the Pact made him feel special and he could not handle the truth.
@@jonfreeman9682 Realy not? it was planned for 4 seasons, there are 3 Books with like 30 mentioned Characters. I dont think there will be much Silo 1 or historical worldbuilding like a Dune hat oder GoT till season 4.
@@jonfreeman9682 This whole Salvador Quinn and letter is not in the books and the interaction between Solo and Juliette is interesting to say the least. I realize they must make changes since you can't fit everything and have to take creative liberties to keep people watching and, so far, it has been tastefully done. @@rcuadro Oh that's not in the book? They're building it up to some big reveal that's world shattering. I'm guessing it's about the silo and why 50 was built.
I refuse to believe the vault doesn’t have a copy of The Wizard of Oz physically or electronically. Unless the book has hand written notes needed for the cypher
I was thinking the same thing. That is a classic with any copyright long expired so should exist in digital storage for the public domain. This is a writer's oversight.
I don’t think the Wizard of Oz has anything to do with breaking the code i think it’s a clue leading to the actual book which I think is the Pact as in the episode 8 trailer you see Lukas giving someone a book that looks like the pact which might be Salvador’s one highlighting some words
@@Livincolourstudio I would agree with you. However, if you wake it for granted that whoever built the silo had sufficient technology to have an AI assistant much much better that Alexa and Siri (even with ChatGPT integration) they also have all the books available in Silo 18 digitized. While this story line is not in the books I am willing to speculate the book needed is actually in the database but it is not as simple as getting the book. They have shown a page from Salvador Quinn's Pact copy which has underlined letters. This has to be what is really needed.
Maybe, just maybe, there are certain knowledge/literature that even the IT is forbidden to gain access. I mean those 49 silos are still under the authority of Silo 1, even the IT must have some limits. So that copy could be extremely forbidden relic that somehow managed to be in there.
@@mamitimun There is tons hidden from IT but I don't want to talk about the books since I this video doesn't have book spoilers. Remember that Salvador Quinn WAS the head of IT when he wrote the letter. This is why I don't believe The Wizard of Oz will be the book they need.
Fallout is so much better than what I’ve seen so far in Silo. Season 2 is a snooze fest and getting more irritating each week. Fallout moves along and is so much more compelling.
How many seisons are there? Not much happens in S2. So many questions I have. The vault must be very big if Solo is still alive How does he gets his food and water.

Bernard finally approved an H1B for Lucas🎉
I like the way the show is handling the differences from the books.
It's pretty accurate to the books. Didn't notice any major deviation yet.

My questions are . How functional Solos vault lt is? Is the AI comp fully operational
Watching Fallout now

@susanbauer2430 yes Silo2 is unpredictable but slow
the number of times "inside the silo" is said instead of "inside the vault" is amazingly offputting.
Drink a bottle of wine each time you hear the word silo.
**drunk AF**
That’s tough lol since this creator misuses the word “silo” for the word “vault” several times.
😂
These Silos are heavily influenced by the Vaultec Vaults from the Fallout universe.

Omg please fix the AI narrated “burn-ud” mispronounciation
It’s the most common pronunciation in English. American English doesn’t count.
