Reggae music is not for gay people. It will not last I don't care what song they make. Bob Marley entered into a genre that represents who he and the people is in every way not coffee. She entered into a genre that is set one way from the time it started. LoL. Confusion is not of God and conscious reggae music especially when you coming with locks.
What do u mean by raggae is not for gay ppl. Cos gay ppl do listen to raggae and some do make raggae. Not on a mainstream level but yes.. U don't want to listen to a gay person fine, but dont say it's not for gay ppl.
The main thing this man said is: STAY FOCUSED! FOCUSED on who you are as an artist! FOCUSED on who you are and the direction you want to go, not where others see you. Bob Marley is a good example of that and DMX!! listen to DMX's struggle and what they said about his music. It was too gritty for air play. He should change it. He said he wasn't changing shit and became the biggest rap artist with an original sound and style.
Let’s remember the story of prodigal son,Coffee is our little sister, our little daughter, when she is ready to come home ,Jamaica and Jamaicans are going to welcome her with a open arms and love. She is one of us forever and we will never abandon her.
@GODSERVANT3993 I still love Koffee songs. And if she releases new songs, I will still listen to it. Because she's a very good artist. What she may or may not do in her bedroom doesn't impede my life.
I just think Koffee was young and she’s not completely gone. She can come back anytime she’s ready. Maybe she couldn’t manage the people talking and criticising who she is. She has lived for 18 years or whatever age she was as the person who she is and Jamaicans expect her to change to be who they want her to be. Koffee is very talented she can still be popular in other parts of the world if Jamaicans have an issue with her. Maybe Koffee was just not mature enough for the celebrity lifestyle. Maybe she wasn’t hungry enough. Idk maybe she’s satisfied with what she has gained and has lost the drive for more. Maybe she doesn’t love it as much as we’d like her to.
I wouldn’t say her career is dead but she did damage her career. They used her to push an agenda for real, especially when she did the song with Sam Smith. When some of these Jamaican artist cross over they loose themself, Shenseea was also a victim to this as well. She can still come back but many Jamaicans will look at her side ways.
If yuh walk and quack like a duck, then you identify as a duck... but you are NOT a duck. I neva hear her seh Rasta, which would show in her livity. Sometimes it is our expectations of individuals that disappoint us. Nuff people identify with/as Rasta because the other choices are dismal.
Koffee doesn’t need Jamaica to accept her or her music in order to be on top again‼️There is America, Europe and all of AFRICA. Remember it was England and the US that accepted Bob first. Jamaica thought Rastas were dirty people up in the hills talking foolishness. Face it, outside of a few Reggae artists like Ziggy, Morgan Heritage and a couple others, the music has shifted to Africa. Koffee gwan wid it. Do your thing. All Jamaicans know to do is tear down not build up. When it hits in NY, London, Amsterdam, Lagos, who gives a damn about people who are concerned about what she does in her bedroom.
There is a whole reggae loving community throughout the world thats is NOT Jamaican, so her career is NOT over. And even among Jamaicans many people don't care about these issues some people are distracted by.

True rastafarian remain faithful to the belief. Coffee fashioned her hair as looking to be a rasta, wearing locs, she did not profess to be a rastafarian. Many women loc their hair, to avoid using chemical products. She is a great artist, just too unfortunate she has drifter.
She went against the teachings of His Majesty. Her mind became confused so much so that she forgot what was her role as a female. Most disappointing also is that the people around her (certain Rastamen at that) did not counsel her into staying on a righteous path. That said, I hope she will be able to clean up certain things and go out there and retake what is rightfully hers.

I remember seeing chronixx at crystal palace in London and he brought koffee through. Thought she was a fish from then this was before everything about her come out
Give her time to grow and navigate the world.. she was wearing a casio watch when she made her first hit with chronixx... money and exposure makes people behave in a strange way.. she looks grounded enough to find her way if she makes errors..
I always enjoy your one on ones intresting perspective

Wiz, good reasoning well creative settings with the drive reasoning. Labels definitely can make and break a career. It's all about image. If you get a chance cover the artist Natural Black. Such a good artist with good lyrical uplifting music catalog but since he cut his locks it's like he spiraled into the abyss. Big up.💪💪

Wow, just yesterday I was wondering what happened to Koffee 😮. This is going to be an interesting watch ❤.
She got decaffeinated😂😂😂😂
I believe she is in the studio
