The pressure to perform at LSU will be night and day compared to playing in middle school gyms in New Mexico vs the little sisters of the poor in front of an estimated crowd of 12 people. Hailey Vin Lith couldn't handle it and had to transfer out.
The top New Mexican talent never chooses N.M when they have greener options. Wish they did stay. They usually crap out finding that the talent pool at a more popular university is at a different level. None the less I wish her the best.
Top national talent, even from New Mexico are gonna choose elite programs for national exposure and NIL opportunities. LSU is the best program that would provide those opportunities for the young lady. And as far as talent pool, she’s the real deal, she’ll be okay; LSU coaching staff is one of the best in WNCAA basketball.
Saw this player in person last year @ Farmington High vs. Lady scorps! Halftime score was 45-7, Scorps. 4 players from FHS, non of which had a DI scholarships anywhere, all out scored entire EHS squad. halftime rolled around 1 player walked off without her teammates. FHS had a sophomore lock her down and out scored her ....as a sophomore!!!! LSU??? I know what i saw!
I disagree. For a lot of these schools, especially in the south, their football/ basketball team makes the most money out of any program they have. These schools make millions off of these players and I think it's unethical to penalize players for wanting a piece of the pie they baked. Even though they get free room and board, and free school, what sense does it make to be a member of a college team that is raking in tons of revenue, but that player is broke? They cant get a job because if you know anything about college football, you know that it takes up all their time. Not too long ago, players weren't making any money playing sports, and I'm glad NIL is here. Less than 2% of athletes actually make it to a professional league, so for the ones that aren't making it in, this is needed, hell, a lot of athletes grew up dirt poor, and getting a scholarship was their only way to go to school. These guys deserve to have some money in their pocket, and not be penalized for it.

Stop hating... Reese was ranked number two five star recruit.... This girl is ranked number 30 five star recruit.... This girl might not even get no playing time with all the guards LSU have... She better hope Flaujae goes to the WNBA...
She should have stayed at home, helped UNM build a good program. She won't see any play time at LSU, the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Plus her family could watch her play every home game, she will regret it and transfer after her 2nd year.
@zxJC34xz Not hating on her at all, I've watched videos on her, no defense, no passing of the ball, she gets the ball and shoots. That might work at Podunk High but it won't work at LSU, just ask Haley Van Lith how that worked for her at LSU. Her career and confidence was destroyed by one player. Caitlin Clark in this year Final Four rematch. If giving advice is hating then telling someone GREAT all the time is child abuse.
Good job!!! Finally some good news in Albuquerque
But is leaving lol
@@latinovic505 she's someone from Albuquerque who is fulfilling her dream. That's good news regardless how you look at it.
@gregengel1616 not saying shes a bad person just saying all the good ones are leaving
Woow so happy for her love from Denver
Hard work pays off
@@catapodaca3601 that and God given talent. It’s a combination.
She's probably one of the best players right now 👍

Only an idiot works for free.
What a ridiculously ignorant comment.

Wonden when mfs gonna realize these NIL deals will ruin sports.
How do you mean exactly?

Ruin it for who?
Rip off 😂😂

ELUSIVE??? OR EXCLUSIVE????
Show a feminist this
It’s women’s basketball. Big deal.
LSU
NIL is ruining college sports.
Elaborate please
It’s not.
@tigerlao44 No they do not. This is student athletics. If they want to go pro, then join a professional league.
