I was mad when I watched this, I'm a new fisherman and put a tube on my rage blade targeting smallmouth in N. Y. My friends weren't very impressed and it made me feel inexperienced so I put it away. I've been watching you for some time and after seeing this, I honestly have to credit you for helping me to think!
That's a remarkable stringer for T Rock. Not surprisingly, in my 20 plus years on the Rock, my biggest stringer ever came from the same conditions- I think around '94- The 1st summer monsoon came thru in June and had just ended mid morning. The lake had suddenly rose a few feet with debris fields everywhere. I was in the back end of big Creek and started throwing a DD22 on main points and chunk rock banks and caught around 18 fish in one hour and my 5 best went around 27/28 lbs! BTW, awesome jig combo. got to try that. TY Randy!
Mr. Randy, do you have a tube and jig you recommend for this setup? It would be nice to see what colors these are for reference in buying. Great video. Excited to try.
I have enjoyed these last two tips and had to laugh about it because I used the tube as a jig trailer many years ago. I was at Buggs Island and ran out of my jig trailers. I thought maybe I can use a tube so I did and was impressed by the look. The fish didn't mind the change either. But I will say that I don't use the tube much anymore. I like my regular trailers better. But the tube does work.
I discovered this trick on my own here in 2021 and it's been great in the late fall/early winter here. It's a very non-threatening profile for pressured fish.
This is another great tip and I really like my solar bat sunglasses that I got, thank you!! Question on this and the chatterbait setup, would painting the jig head red make a difference maybe? Just a thought. Thanks Randy and I really enjoy your channel!! :)
Loving the hat!!!😁great tips I the "Tackle Room" been busy with the holidays🤓your never forgotten Randy😁
Talk about a solid guy .. giving someone props from 30+ years ago most people today seem to forget who showed them something 15 minutes later

Great looking bait and tip. Never thought of it. Thanks
That rig setup looks really good. I'll have to try it. Thanks for the tip Randy
Hopefully I this will cross my mind one day when I’m fishing flooded areas, especially sawdust mats and bushes. Thanks 👊
Wow I really like the way you flush mounted it on there, looks great, so many appendages when they are liking that 'squirmy' look that's the deal

Love those RB 2 model Solar Bats!
Hey what color solar bar sunglasses do u recommend. How do u chose?
What is your opinion on Lew's reels and models.
That looks awesome! Will give it a try this spring

I'll have to give this a try. We get heavy mates of oak pollen and cottonwood bloom it's hard fish.
Do you think a solid bodied craw tube would act the same as a hollow body? Or would it have a completely different fall?
I really like what you do man.
Keep up the tube tips!
I recommend the solar bats, I've got 2 pairs now, definitely high quality & awesome warranty as long as I don't lose them...
Thanks for that info! I really appreciate it
Awesome tip!
Randy, what's a "Sawdust Mat"?
Never heard that term.

Looks like bass candy to me.

Thanks Eric, I definitely like to match the head color to the skirt and trailer color if possible
@@randyblaukatintuitive I Understand and thanks!!
Holy Smokes!!! Even I would eat that I think.
Maybe a new Randy B flipping jig would look much better hung up on my Christmas tree
We are hoping to have them ready for sale in a couple weeks
Did you run the hook through the inserted trick worm piece?
Yep
Thanks for giving us the juice lol
Would I use that on a chatter bait trailer??
New sub, got addicted this week. Thx brøther🙏💎
🌵🧀🐠⚓️
Your RB2 sunglasses are out of stock until February. 😔
Gonna give a try
Good idea but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sawdust mat.
Nothing like a skirt on a skirt LOL.
how about on a swim jig?
And just so you know, the RB2 Solarbat's are SOLD OUT!!!!! Not available until mId Feb.
Dang!
I think even I would eat that.
Why not just use a fat ika?
Randy licks and bites so many soft plastic baits you have to wonder if he likes them more than the bass do
