For the price and the amazing hardware you get, not to mention the incredible slim bezels (that put the S24 FE to shame in that department), this is one of the best midrange phone you can get right now. And I'm happy Xiaomi can FINALLY do 4k video on the selfie camera!
By the way, the lack of a charging brick was because of reportedly EU regulations requesting chargers to not be included in boxes as most people already own charging bricks and it contributes to e-waste, and it could result in hefty fines; Since most of Xiaomi's global units are from ones meant for the EU, It also ended up in many areas without a charging brick. You can see that on some russian/asian regions and reviews that a charger showed up in the box. This is what I've heard of, at least.
@@King_OrangeAvM the fact that there are regions that get a charging brick means that if Xiaomi wanted to, they could've added it here. We're not in the EU
@izziboye Yeah, but from what I've noticed, since a lot of their fan base is centered in the EU where the regulations are in place, and they make tons and tons of extra stock. Since it's technically the global default, it's basically for every region due to how much extra stock they have from the EU, exceptions made if the country has lots of customers and Xiaomi knows it will sell well, so they come with chargers. Xiaomi still does give chargers, I think this problem will be fixed with the 15 series.
The only thing that always puts a Samsung above other brands in my crosshairs is the software updates. Xiaomi does not have a good track record when it comes to those. And with Samsung now offering 6 years, damn!!
@09soilder they didn't offer that long an upgrade before. But i know people keeping them for 4 years. The problem with keeping a phone that long is the degrading battery, it's the one that usually forces an upgrade.
Yh, samsung is great with their updates, i remember the first time i used Samsung android phone in 2013, the galaxy S3, it came with cupcake android version 2.3 or thereabout, i was able to get to Jellybean 4.1.3 or thereabout meaning i got update for about 3 years
I currently have the vanilla 13T. Do you think it's now worth updating to the Xiaomi 14 or get the 14T instead? What matters are slightly better everything from general photos, videos (HDR, accuracy, low light, stabilisation, etc ) and battery life.
Between the Xiaomi 14T and Samsung A55, which one would you choose? I like Samsung for its regular updates and the smooth experience of One UI. However, I also appreciate the Xiaomi 14T for its powerful CPU and 12GB RAM. My main concerns with Xiaomi are the intrusive ads and the lack of meaningful software updates after 6 months. I feel the Xiaomi 14T might last longer because of its stronger CPU, but many Xiaomi devices tend to feel buggy after 3 years. On the other hand, Samsung's regular updates for 5 years make me think it could last longer overall, but I worry that its CPU may not hold up as well over time since it’s not as powerful as the Dimensity 8300 Ultra.
Trust me , Samsung updates are not that Good either, maybe on S series , on A series one ui is lacking, no good animations , no smooth scrolling etc, even some cheap Redmi phones with amoled 120hz feels better in day to day use than an A series phone
I used the galaxy s22 until now,and it's almost two years old. But the battery life is a joke, I know it's a smaller phone but it was a flagship phone. Yes the software support is better on Samsung, but I finally bought the xiaomi 14t. I think it's better than the Samsung A55. It depends which of the android skins you prefer. But the performance and the Leica cameras are very nice on this 14T, the pro is even better but more expensive.
What would you recommend? I have 4 solid choices: Honor 90 for 230e 14t for 260e (free earbuds included) Honor 200 for 350e Honor 200pro for 430e I dont play games at all. Most of my screen time is youtube, some IG scrolling and decent photo/video. For my "needs" what would you recommend? Also to mention, I own 11t atm and I have a 67w charger.
Nice phone overall, iphone started the virus of no charging brick, headphone jack...it infected samsung & now unto our beloved Chinese OEM phones, it is well indeed The fact that i can't listen to say like some audio clips, music, vids in privacy if i don't have earbuds etc or their battery is dead & worst part even radio is really bad
I dunno, maybe the same people that made them overtake Apple as number 2 in global smartphone sales earlier this year. We should stop trying to project our realities for others. You're not interested does not mean others won't be

Great review video sir.
I can always count on you to provide a really detailed review. I enjoyed watching this. 🙌✌️♥️
Make review of the Poco f6 pro and 14t comparison video for the both phones I want to buy one so I can make a good choice please
If you want performance and Gaming go with F6 Pro. For photos it's 14T
@@charlesmichaelalegada4497Agreed 💯👍
14t also can handle high fps games without frame drops its still beast in terms of gaming.. 14t for me is much better.
I like game Alot so I will go for f6 pro it's snap dragon gen2
Well done Izzi Boye 🙌
The only downside was lack of charging brick
in some markets!

Amazing review, thanks Izzi.
How do you you think it compares to the camon 30 premier or redmi not 14 pro+
Nice review ❤ from Dj John Sweden.
Thanks for this review🙏. Where can I get one.
Can't wait for that redmi note 14 pro plus review... Please compare it to the 14T as well

What should i buy? 14t or google pixel 9?
Please will the xaiomi 14t pro version be available in Nigeria?
Should be. I've seen them advertising it on their Nigerian Instagram page. I don't think they'd do that unless they were sure it was coming to Nigeria
How long is the SOT if it used only for social media?

Izzi abeg, try review OnePlus phones
We need them
Especially OnePlus 12 and the upcoming OnePlus 13
They don't retail in Nigeria. Unless OnePlus sends me one it's unlikely I'll review them
The 14T doesn't connect to Android Auto though. Very big issue.

Can you make a review on Xiaomi Redmi 14.?
Compare it with Realme GT6, it's closest competitor.

Xiaomi no try for the camera bump design, like for the price you want people to pay. I prefer the 13t design

This or the s24 FE ?
S24 FE if your budget allows. This is more affordable
