Just found your channel. Congratulations on the new RV. My wife and I bought the exact model in July 2022 and have live in ours full time. We absolutely love our 3550.
Your channel just came up on my TH-cam feed…. We are looking forward to following along. Takes me back to to our camping days. I so want to do it all again. Enjoy this time. ☮️ & ❤
Oh you guys should make that back area a parking spot and pour concrete or you could lay material down to keep the weights from making the grass dip or getting stuck
It is beautiful. We bought one a few years ago and we love it. Best thing we ever did. We just vacation in ours but it’s our happy place. Congrats! Enjoy 🎉
As a former 5th wheeler owner, one thing I must recommend is get an upgrade to the MAX on your insurance, including the best Towing insurance you can find. We had to fork out more than a grand several times with breakdowns. NEVER leave your trailer parked on the side of a road or you'll find squaters or even people that will tow it away. Afurther recommendation is to take the time and recoat the roof with a good sealer.
Beautiful home! My wife and I just got a new home on wheels. We also live in Tennessee. I’m not sure if y’all have a washer and dryer but that just changed it from good to awesome.
Congrats on the rig. We have the 3660 suite, and love it. Pulls so much better than our old travel trailer. Just spent a week at Myrtle Beach SC with our rig.
So, you have had it for four months now. You learned a lot by now! I’m retired electrical design engineer and worked for very large contractor last 21 years. Designed jobs all over the US. Only advice I’m giving, do not use the blue lights very much. Blue light causes eye damage. Best wishes on your careers and your life’s! Kevin
I really like how you did your priority list broken down to eventually get your right RV. Also looking for a RV…motorhome class A 45 foot and doing the same. priorities what we need and the design and then we got it down to two different manufacturers now.
Congratulations on the new life adventure, the new job and being able to go full remote to live the camper lifestyle. Also that camper is HUGE!!! I wish y’all the best!
Congrats on the rig. We are in Arlington and we love our RV and traveling as well. We started our TH-cam channel a few years ago but unfortunately the demands of full time work and other family obligations limited our ability to edit and upload videos so that's on hold for us right now. Good luck on your journey.
You guys picked a really good rig. From what i seen Arctic Wolf gets really good reviews for quality and craftsmanship. And supposedly has great 4 season capability. Good luck on the road.
Y'all are so cute! Enjoy that RV we felt the same way when we bought our little travel trailer. 5th wheel in the future. Can't wait to see y'all hit the road. Be behind you in a few years.
Those locks can be a little tricky,I have trouble all the time. Thinking about the key code style. Congrats on your adventure. Wished I would have done this at your age. Chance to see this beautiful country and everything it has to offer! Enjoy!
Never too late. I got my first 5th wheel when I was 53. Only had it maybe 3 years, and life changed a bit. Now 70 and retired ... 2 weeks ago (May of 2023) and found a beautiful Monaco Class A 40 footer. Headed out full-time in July!
Welcome to the RV world. First things first, what state do you have your license ? Check your state. GVWR of the truck, them GVWR on trailer- over 26000 lbs ? You may need a NON Commercial license.
I don't know where y'all live but this looks an awful lot like the Memphis area ❤❤ The rear living is so nice! And a pantry!! Great floorplan! New Subbie! I can't wait to see your adventures! P. S. I'm north of Memphis about 40 minutes ❤❤
Congrats on the nice new RV. We can relate to the excitement since we bought our 5th Wheel back in Dec to move into. Now we are waiting on our home to sell so we can be full-time as well. Good luck to you both!
Congrats on your new rig. We just bought our 3rd camper in March and the excitement never gets old. Nice to see someone local to us (we live south of Collierville, TN) following their dreams. Also, props to your company Darby for letting you maintain your remote status while the firm moved to hybrid. Hard to find nowadays. Safe travels! -Lance and Kristina
Congrats guys! We just bought the same model, and are also having it delivered site unseen about 1,000 miles. We do have an inspector scheduled to give it a complete top to bottom look though. Did you guys hire one as well? Excited to follow along with another couple in the same boat;) We’ve also got 2 crazy pups along for this adventure as well!
Best of luck in your adventure. I'm a little confused when you hooked up your own truck to the rig? I didn't see the delivery truck leave. You did take an unbelievably massive risk buying it sight unseen. I think your rig might be a 2022 model. Does anybody known what year it is. You're very fortunate that your husband is a master electrician. He is going to come in handy as he should be able to handle the 12V and 120V systems. My advice means nothing, but you're going to be making additions to your RV. Your first addition after trashing the stock battery, is add two 100AH, 12 Volt batteries along with a good generator. If you're going to be on the road full time you'll need these, especially if you're not planning to stay in RV parks all the time. RV parks have become a chancy stay and can be expensive. Many have become run down and are filthy with disgusting amenities. Untrustworthy neighbors are always present and will steal anything not tied down, so be prepared. Always be prepared to defend yourselves and your property with the appropriate tools, if you get my drift. You'll never have to worry about a bad situation if you stay at a Harvest Host for a one or two night stay. The big truck stops with RV facilities are noisy but they are always clean as a whistle and everything always works first time. Have a great time. You guys make a great and handsome couple. Vaya con Dios. 😢
Forgot to mention that a decent 3000 watt inverter should be part of the deal. Once you install Easy Start or Soft to each of your A/C units, you'll be able to use your generator to run your aircon independently. There's nothing I hate more than having to hook up to an RV park pedestal just so I can run my aircon.
Your a Cute Couple. Genuine, I can tell. Great 1st video of you guys for me. Lets see what else ya got.

Darby, so interested on how you were named Darby -- -my maiden name is Darby originally from Maryland since the 1640's.
Congratulations on your new rig.… I love following rv’ers like yourselves, can be educating and definitely entertaining.
Congratulations guys!! Enjoy! We look forward to watching your adventures!

Those window shades are terrible to keep sunlight and heat out, trust me I know, upgrade ASAP
Fridge not big enough
Puts more money in U-R Bank
Or Lease out U-R house to A corporate Realtor
Congrats! Now go camping.
