Thank you Matt for the explore….it was perfect. I live just a mile away from this; the womens unit opened in 1916, the rest of the asylum was finished in 1816 and both had many beautiful period features. Your drone footage shows the ‘airing’ area where patients were allowed to take some fresh air whilst walking, supervised, on a grassy area. Sadly, the women’s unit was re-done in modern NHS style. I remember seeing the patients out in town in small groups in the ‘70’s, wearing ill fitting clothes. I have no doubt that the place is haunted. You did a great job here Matt, and the music was perfect. Keep it up boy! X
