I'm betting this place was above average. He gave some high scores. And they tried some different things. And even though the food looked good, I'd rather have his cooking.
This is definitely not an everyday kind of place. It’s higher-end food for sure, especially as far as chains go. That being said, I’m sure he does still enjoy regular stuff judging by the other videos on this channel!

This is Din Tai Fung. Had these exact same dishes there 2 weeks ago. Place is not bad, but not worth the hours of waiitng or 2 week advanced reservation request. Much better dumplings in LA.
We here in the Philippines have a Chinese fast food restaurant chain known as Chowking that is owned by the Jollibee Foods Corporation. In the mid-late 2010s, they released variants of their siopao: one of them known as the Panda Pao which was decorated to look like a panda and was filled with chocolate. Interesting dessert I suppose as it was basically like eating a Nutella sandwich disguised as Chinese food.

We dont Taco Bao it 😂
i think i saw him on darrman

He has such a distinguished voice. I wish he would adopt me and my step dads already pretty cool.

I read it in that voice lmao
The way I knew it was Din Tai Fung by the first two items and the chopsticks 😂
Yea, when you been there enough times things, you can tell right away
Aye I recognize it there too we love the spicy noodles and dumplings.
...
Try the peach tea next time you go.

I’ve only been there once and I could tell by the cucumbers lol

I like that he likes food. Certain popular chefs around don't even look like they like food the way they treat it.
