It's kind of ironic how chill this song actually is given the band and genre. I never thought about it much, but seeing your demeanor and posture while playing certainly highlights the laid-back nature of this track.
Greetings from germany. I got a big question: how the hell did you get the cymbal triggers working 🤣 im spending 20 houers and still dont get the triggers working on that damn kit. I have still missing hits ore wrong hits (hit the edge but module plays bow or sometimes one edge hit but it plays double edge hit) i have watch the zildijan videos more than one time and try out different settings. But it is still far away from working good.... 🙈🤦
Hi. It may take a while to fine tune the triggers, Zildjian's stance on this is that everyone should fine tune it to their own playing style and as far as I know there will be firmware improvements to optimize the trigger response. Also, make sure you keep the Zildjian logo facing you. I don't think Zildjian mentions this, but the E-cymbals (like the Roland's) don't work great when you hit them on the rear/ opposite side of the logo. The closer to the actual trigger you hit, the more accurate the response will be. I had to find a way to lock the cymbals to prevent them from rotating and I fiddled with trigger settings for a long long time (days even). Hope this helps!
@@DanielCardosoTV Hey, thanks for the quick reply. The tip about pinning the cymbals is great, I almost figured as much. I'll definitely do that today. At the moment I'm so frustrated with the trigger settings that I briefly considered just giving it back. Which would be a real shame. Maybe a stupid idea, but can you send me your trigger settings for the cymbals? Then I can see if it improves anything. I'm very curious to see if this will help. I've already reset it 10 times and started all over again and it's really.... always something else that doesn't fit. Thank you so much and have a great week
I played this song on a clinic/ demo I did at a Drum Show to showcase the Zildjian Alchem-e kit to a crowd mostly unfamiliar to Meshuggah, that’s why I used different cymbals and some extra details. I like the closed HHs though, makes it more groovy for me.

O groove de "Stengah" é nojento demais. As notas fantasmas tocadas lindamente, bom demais. Muito obrigado por esse maravilhoso video.
These cymbals are insane. I thought they were acoustic at first, then I saw the holes so they are silent, but they are fully electric!
I was fooled too until the china sound
Awesome mate!
Baterista de Anathema a fazer cover de Meshuggah... As minhas duas bandas preferidas... Demais, do melhor que Portugal tem.😢😢❤
God damn bro. You slayed ❤
Groovy
Muito bom os toques pessoais adicionados a música
