For the record, I came to this channel because I saw a short. And now I've been watching everything. I'm so intrigued with the idea and passion of memorizing the Bible.
This was brilliant! I think your summary of the ‘peg’ system was excellent Josh. I’m going to try it. While watching this I kept thinking of Colossians 3:16 ‘Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly’
My wife was bothered by light in the middle of the night so there was no way to study my Bible while laying awake so I memorized the most important verses in the first five books of the Bible and I got to where I could kind of go through them in a few minutes in the dark
I'm praying about memorizing the book of Proverbs. Researching what others are doing, seeking best strategy that works for me. Thank you and God bless everyone ❤ 🙏

I agree!! As someone who often feels daunted by most Bible memory systems this one actually seems incredibly approachable! I’ve been a Christian since ‘96 and I once sat with my Pastor explaining how frustrated and I felt at my lack of memorisation skill, he told me “Ian, you’re mind is like a sieve, but yours is the cleanest sieve”. That helped me with that feeling of failure but I’m always hopeful I’ll find something that will help me memorise Scripture
