That was truly amazing!!!! I only wish I had your sense of style because it is beautiful. I wish I had known these tips when I was younger and could have built up my serving items over time. Hopefully your young viewers will listen and do what you suggest. It is great advise!!!! TFS Take care.................
+Pamela Ruth Awww, thanks. What a beautiful compliment. I am so glad you enjoyed the video. Hopefully I can encourage someone that there is beauty all around us and it doesn't have to cost much. Sometimes the most beautiful things in life are free :)
(: It is a good thing, and sometimes not .... I started collecting early, and some people decided to take advantage of helping themselves to some real good pieces I had!!!!! ... :( Some things just have to be locked up!!!!! But you can still enjoy getting pieces little by little now!!!!! ... 😚☺
@@verikeri2849 (: I'm with you .... You don't have to break the bank for tableware, decorations, etc ... ☺ I have Dollar Tree glasses too and other items and they look just as good as any high priced items .... ☺ In fact I have seen high priced things that I would not even buy for a dollar!!!!! ... lol ... 😚
Lovely budget friendly ideas. I love your artistic eye. People have forgotten the art of hospitality. How nice it is to dine in someone's home who has taken the time to make the table beautiful. It says to your guests they are special and welcomed!
Great video! I started collecting all kinds of kitchen stuff in turquoise when I was a kid and lived at home. Had quite a bit when I was on my own. Just redid my kitchen last year, all white cabinets, marble (Quartz) counter tops, glass doors on some cabinets. All my turquoise dishes and serving pieces peeking out of glass. Dark turquoise paint on wall by window when you walk in and on doorway when you walk out. Love it! What's also great is I have memories of when I found different items at a flea market, yard sale, store sale and whom I was with when I bought it! TFS
+Shelley Meyers Sounds like a beautiful kitchen. I too remember where and when and with whom I was with when I purchased most of my pieces. Such great memories make for great stories. When someone asks me about a piece that I purchased I always have a good story to tell :) I loooove to hunt for things. It took me 11 years to find the exact kitchen garbage can that I conjured up in my head. I absolutely love throwing away garbage now...lol.
Excellent #!! You are TRULY showing people how to live luxuriously on a reasonable budget. Many times on shows they will say, "Get the look for less ! William Sonoma sells this can opener for $70.00. We got it for $55.00 at Macy's. Yay!". Um no. Both are overpriced. Getting the same thing for $10 by being patient is what you are doing. Great job. You can show people better than you can tell them. I will refer folks to this vid.
+marie watson Awww thanks! I know what you mean about those "Get the Look for Less" shows. I am so glad you enjoyed the video so much that you will be sharing it with your friends. I really appreciate that. Have a Happy Holiday Season.
Wow ! You did the exact thing as W & S for 100x less. Congrats. I love your table. I specially love the flatware. The glass pitcher is wow too. Thank you for sharing.
you are so classy and detailed, you breakdown prices an cost effective compared bargain shopping. very informing. you would be wonderful teaching this in colleges, high schools, or your own classroom and over the Internet. this is truly your own brand
Keri, this was the most informative, cost effective and classy video this season. on the hunt for a wine decanter and the wheat bundles. I too have been collecting for my tables cape for years. Going to copy the napkin paper wrap idea. Off topic, love your nails. I do my own gel nails at home and totally painting a glitter ombre effect like yours. You rock!!
+Kathleen Howard (LiveLoveCHXBeach) Awww, thanks! What a huge compliment. You should find a great selection at great prices in Homegoods, TJMAXX, and Marshalls. You can't get any simpler with the paper napkin ring. This was the first time I tried the ombre nails. My nail technician told me that I needed to spice things up a bit and stop being so conservative. She suggested ombre nails....so I picked two of my favorite colors....blush and copper. I love the way they turned out but the process took twice as long as normal. I get what's called SNS/ANC dipping powder. Have you ever tried that before?
I really love the silverware settings and have been looking at getting a new set for some time. I think this is one of my favorite TH-cam videos of all time! Thank you Keri...keep these coming with your luxe for less!!!!
+Mimi Cole Awwwww, what a huge compliment. Truth be told, I think this is my favorite tablescape of all time. I have always loved the lion head collection, and finally after 2 years of hunting, I have all the pieces :)
I LOVE your channel... Amazing and so stunning looks for less.. I started watching you before I left Italy over 6 months ago and never miss a video. Lovely and so inviting!!!!! Love that you do looks for less.... Thank you for sharing!!!!
+Terri Trujillo Awww, thanks! I am so glad that you found my videos both informative and beautiful.....that is my goal for this channel :) Have a great weekend.
Melanie + I were waiting patiently for this video.....Finally!!!! :) I LOVE...how you broke it down! I cannot believe the price difference. It all looks so similar. I love the wine tip...lol as well as using your decanter to serve soup. Love it!!! Great use of the wheat grass centerpiece. Your nails were on point...matching your copper accessories. I know how much you adore copper! I really love this video. Thanks so much for taking the time to help us all save my dear friend! XOXOXO
+Bemyguestwithdenise Denise Cooper After this video crashed twice I was about to say FORGET it...but I knew you and Melanie would have been mad...lol. Girl, I have always had a thing for wheat....I think it is so simple...yet beautiful. Well you know I think all natural things are beautiful. Oh, you like my ombre nails...my nail technician suggested I try something new. You know I had to go for the blush and copper combination...lol. It's different but I don't know if I'll get it again. xooxoxox
I applaud your diligence in looking for all your dinnerware. You have beautiful pieces. You are a good shopper getting everything at a reduced price. I like the way you show us the price comparison list. Great Job!!👏🙌
+The Lioness Lane Aww thanks! I loooooove dishes....any kind of dish....and I love creating tablescapes. Thanks for the compliment on the nails....my nail technician suggested I try something new. I had never heard of ombre or gradient nails before, but I am liking the new look :) Take care.
Good things come to those who have the time, energy, mission and patience. Me personally, I would be so afraid to buy 4 knowing I need 8. I would be afraid I would never be able to find the other 4. I love China, crystal and flatware. I’m an older lady with several sets and no one to pass them down to. I have read and have been told by my nieces and great niece that it is a thing of the past. I don’t know where my love for the pretty things came from. I know for sure it was not my mother. I came from a family of 5 girls and we lived in a very small house. I have tried to create a nice gathering tradition at my home for the holidays. I have a formal dinning room. I do agree with your white dishes. I love them. Everything looks beautiful! I will continue to watch you.
+TheFoxybrown7119 Awwww, thanks!! I am glad you liked the manicure. My nail technician suggested that I do something different...she said that I am too conservative with my nails. She suggested I do the ombre or gradient nail technique. So I chose two of my favorite colors blush and copper. I like the way they turned out...quite different from what I am used to wearing but I like it for a change. I hope your weekend is off to a great start.
Goodness, I love this video! I have been collecting white ironstone for years from yard sales. You have inspired me and given me the energy I need! On my way tomorrow for dupes for our holiday table!
+Peggyann Smith Awww, thanks! I looove ironstone....have a few ironstone soup tureens in my stash. I mostly get mine from thrift stores. Glad you are inspired to go pick up some dupes. It doesn't cost much, as a matter fact sometimes it costs nothing at all to be surrounded by beauty. I hope your Holiday table turns out fabulous....but I mostly hope that you truly enjoy the day with those that you care about....now that's beautiful.
You always give the best advice on how to save money and still look fabulous!! Thank you so much for explaining so many elements to your tablescape. It's great to know I can start small and continue to build up my collection. :)
This was an excellent video mainly because you not only set the table divine but you broke down the difference between quality levels. Some people still don't get why items are so costly. If it is hand made, get ready to pay more ( unless it's on sale). If someone is making a glass from scratch with details designs by hand you have to pay more because of the time it cost to make plus material. Thank about the time spent just to make one glass vs using a machine to make a dozen. Another good one is the brass plated vs solid brass or cotton vs linen. It's cool to purchase low end but understand what you are buying. Veri Keri does a great job at explaining the difference so we all can be better shoppers. The dollar store is great and I personally think it is for the single or for a couple because you can buy in smaller packages but buying from these major stores when it's 50-90% off is well worth it and it is probably a lot cheaper than buying each single items for $1. One dollar adds up when you may be able to get it for a fraction of the cost at a major store. Job well done.
+DIM DT Awww, thanks! I am so happy to have found them.....and when I saw the $6.99 price tag I almost darn near fainted. I thought to myself this cannot possibly be right. Glad you are enjoying my videos.
+Theblackbumblebee ! Thanks! I looooove my copper wine opener. Glad you enjoyed the video since you were patiently waiting for a few days....hopefully I didn't disappoint and you got a few tips for the upcoming Holidays :)
Veri Keri I seriously have withdraws, lol...haha...I know you TH-cam celebs are busy so l understand but we can't get enough..I'm looking forward to new challenges such as what would Kerri do, I know we all have different taste but I think you can still help us ambitious home decorators, mothers, and wives...I need help with making my hair products look pretty..lol..The bubble bath or mouthwash in decorative bottles are one of "ALL"my favorite videos on your chanel..Thank you for responding # many blessings pretty lady
Oh my goodness, I need to watch this again and take notes. Absolutely stunning; loved your tips. I'm also PB/WS lover but don't love the prices!!! Thank you so much for this incredibly helpful and inspiring video!!!
+Jeska B Welcome to my channel and I am so glad that you are enjoying yourself. I hope you stay awhile....I would be even more elated if you subscribed :)
Beautiful! Love the tips! I will do some wiser shopping! I use white plates so I can mix lots of good bargains in my collection! I love your style very clean and simple but pure elegance!
I absolutely love your videos!!! Everything is so well thought out, you really put a lot of time into them and your voice is so soothing and easy to listen to. I really really enjoy your videos!!
+MY LIFE FULL OF HOPE Thanks! I am pleased with how everything turned out also. I am just as surprised as my viewers are because I have no idea what the final reveal will look like until I am done. I just play with my dishes until everything comes together just the way I like it :)
+sharon cresenzi Thanks!! You are not alone.....we typically spend hundreds also...that is why when I saw that article I was thinking....NO WAY!! We kick off Thanksgiving in the afternoon and "graze" all day until well into the night. We have several appetizers, several meat choices and a slew of desserts, drinks (both alcoholic and nonalcoholic)....and don't forget the leftovers. I noticed the Farmers Association's menu didn't even include mac-n-cheese....what is any Holiday meal without mac-n-cheese?? My husband's mac-n-cheese cost $40 (he uses so many different types of cheese). They also only had milk and coffee as the beverages....really?? Looks like I am going to have to be very strategic. Also, with a $50 budget....I will be losing 10 lbs instead of gaining 10 lbs because we won't be able to get a second helping....and Lord knows there will be no leftovers...lol.
Great tips and beautiful things. In most cases I like your items more than the Williams & Sonoma & Pottery Barn items. Thanks as always for a great video!
I love this video, very informative I have saved this also for later. thank you please keep these type going I am at a stage in my life where I will be an emptienester soon and we can't wait just so we can have the things we want without the kids breaking or messing things up lol
Keri l must say this was very very informative and well done. l love your detailed approach to the accounting factor and all the great tips. Sometimes we really need to be reminded and take a step back and look at our whole picture and this video did that for me. Thanks for sharing. Hugs Alli
+wildforesable You are so welcome!! It is so funny that you wrote this comment. I am working on a video on that very subject....spending money and not having anything to show for it :)
I can't believe how pricey the items from Williams-Sonoma were!! There is no reason a plain white dish/cup/etc. should cost that much!!! I love the table setting and your style!! :-)
Absolutely stunning! I don't think you are crazy for spending over $400. You buy it once have it forever, that's my motto. And you are right, b/c everything is neutral you can break these pieces out any time of year. Great Job!
So beautiful. I love this video. As with most things, with time they get better and are more enjoyable. I think that goes for building you serving and dinner ware items. Plus, at least for me, it makes it fun to find the items. I also save my gift cards for just this reason. Should I find an item, even on clearance, if I have a gift card it makes it even better. Take care-Sue
+animalrescuegeek Thanks! I am so glad you liked the video. You are so right...I loooove the thrill of the hunt....lol. Sometimes it takes me years to find exactly what I am looking for....but I will patiently wait and when I finally find it I get such a rush. I just used a gift card at Target to get some items for our Christmas breakfast tablescape. We are doing a lumberjack themed breakfast and all of the buffalo check plaid that Target Dollar Spot had was perfect!! Thanks for watching.
Just discovered your videos and I LOVE them!!! I was looking for elegant Thanksgiving/Fall table settings as there aren't too many of them - Halloween and Christmas seem more popular - so I'm thrilled to find yours plus, the added bonus of how to find good quality items for less. Keep them coming! Thank you.
Good video, LOVE you sharing the expensive table and the "smart" version. seriously, if you are so financially blessed, buy the "smart" version and bless someone else with the difference. The "smart" table looks everybit as GORGEOUS.. Love this video, please continue to do this type of comparison. It's very inspirational.
+Bobbie I love that place too. There used to be one about 10 minutes from where I live. It closed down about 10 years ago. Now I have to drive about an hour to the nearest one. I only get there about 3 times a year.
+GiGi West Girlfriend....if all you did was spill something.....I would call the evening a success. A party isn't a party until someone spills or breaks something.....and believe me we PAR-TAY over in these parts....do not ....I repeat DO NOT let a pretty table fool you.....that is why I have to buy everything on the cheap....so that I can replace it...lol. So glad that you liked the video.
Just found your channel. Now Bing watching. I have the lion head soup bowls and small condiment size bowls I purchased while in France. The bowls were 3 Euro each and the condiment size ones were only .25 each on sale. I haven't been able to find the soup tureen yet with the same style head on it. I finally broke down and purchased just a plain white one.
Great Video. Thanks for sharing these tips of building up dinnerware. I am always looking for a bargain when buying items such as table items because they do tend to be expensive especially at the more expensive stores.
Wow! You did such a great job of shopping. K is for Karen advised to check out this video from you and I am so happy she did. Great tips. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Aww thanks! I am currently working on this years Thanksgiving tablescape. Out theme is called "Hunted and Gathered"...it's going to be like a woodland type theme complete with an Apple Bar where I will feature Apple flavored drinks, a caramel apple bar and some "Apple"tizers :)
I absolutely loved this sitcom 😂😂😂😂😂! We will get a weekly or biweekly edition!!!! Seriously, so much good information here and I love the final look of the tablescape..... It was absolutely beautiful!!!! Now, thanks to you I will shopping comparing apples to apples ;)! And I will also be waiting to see this meal.... No pressure 😂😂😂😂!
+Living Luxuriously for Less Girrrl, make up your mind....do you want commercials or sitcoms?? You and Denise both have been begging me to cut the time on my videos....now you want a weekly sitcom...lol!!! So glad you enjoyed the video. Now just because I compare apples to apples.....it doesn't mean I won't end up buying the orange. I need to know WHY something costs more...is there a valid reason like superior quality and/or materials. Or are they just charging more to cover marketing fees....lol.
Keri! Again, this is why I subbed your channel. I love how you want to encourage us to use wisdom to buy quality items for our home on a budget. Your tablescapes are always gorgeous and inviting. Thus far this is simply my favorite of all of the great Keri creations. I just completed an arrangement using wheat as well. I like all of your different alternatives for serving soup etc. Your Dollar Tree glassware fits in nicely. Lady, the finishing touches like the menu wrapped around the napkin is going to be copied. Great demonstrative point on using the rule of thumb to align your flatware. And by the way your nails are gorgeous. I also agree with purchasing stemware from open stock. A Iight, natural and clean tablescape....I love it. TFS Keri. Hugs and love, Cathryn
+AMATEUR DECORATING LIKE A PRO Here you go...got me grinning from ear to ear. Boy do you know how to make a person feel good :) You know I get just as much excitement as you all when my tablescapes come together. I have know idea how they will turn out. I just start playing with my dishes and then somehow something magical appears. The only thing that I purchased to complete the tablescape was the wheat....everything else I already had.
I am so looking forward to the $50 Thanksgiving Dinner challenge. When I saw the menu they used I thought no way not my family. We have to use the divide and conquer method to save money because there are so many of us. One day I will host a simple Easter dinner. I have started collecting my pieces and affordable dinner suggestions will come in handy. tfs
+Burnetta Allen I was thinking the same thing when I saw that menu!! We use the divide and conquer method as well. Collectively we typically spend hundreds of dollars on our family Thanksgiving gathering...that is why when I saw that article I was thinking....NO WAY!! We kick off Thanksgiving in the afternoon and "graze" all day until well into the night. We have several appetizers, several meat choices and a slew of desserts, drinks (both alcoholic and nonalcoholic)....and don't forget the leftovers.
WOW, Keri, I love your soup tureen pieces. You are such an inspiration. I can watch your videos all day!
+DIM DT Awww, thanks! I am so happy to have found them.....and when I saw the $6.99 price tag I almost darn near fainted. I thought to myself this cannot possibly be right. Glad you are enjoying my videos.

I love Old Time Pottery, I am so glad it is so close to me, I could walk there if I needed too.
Girl, you came with the RECEIPTS with that detailed spreadsheet! Loving this!

+MY LIFE FULL OF HOPE Thanks! I am pleased with how everything turned out also. I am just as surprised as my viewers are because I have no idea what the final reveal will look like until I am done. I just play with my dishes until everything comes together just the way I like it :)
Table is stunning! So many valuable tips! I'm looking forward to your next video, I'm hosting the holidays and usually spend hundreds! 😰
Beautiful and inspiring. Thanks for sharing
+cooldesert30 Awww, thanks!
Great tips and beautiful things. In most cases I like your items more than the Williams & Sonoma & Pottery Barn items. Thanks as always for a great video!
+Susan Ritter Awwww, thanks!
+Veri Keri you're an inspiration to housewives like me💕😉
+I am here! Awwww, thanks!
Hugs Alli
+awesomeskylineally Isn't it eye opening when you do the math! I am glad that you enjoyed the video.
Thank you!!!!!!! Great info, tips. We spend that much over time and have nothing to a show for it sometimes.
Whatttt you got a steal of a deal for that bear soup tureen. Those prices are super amazing. I love how you shop around and get such great deals.
Thanks Keri! Your videos are always awesome!
+Angel Christian Awwww, thanks!
Great tips, beautiful table. Thanks for sharing :)
+Brenda Mayes Thanks, you are welcome!
Absolutely stunning! I don't think you are crazy for spending over $400. You buy it once have it forever, that's my motto. And you are right, b/c everything is neutral you can break these pieces out any time of year. Great Job!
+Dana Suro Awww, thanks! I am glad you liked the video. Hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season.
VERI KERI EVERY THING IS PERFECT YOURE INCREDIBLEI LOVE YOUR TSBLESCAPE PLUS YOUR BUDGET WOOHOO I CAN HIRE Y SOME DAY GOD BLESS
Beautiful table.
Thank you.
Girl, you are awesome! And I'm only one minute in!
Wow! Amazing. Thank you for sharing this.
+Shante Vega Thanks! I am glad you liked the video!!
I love old time pottery!! Its about 4 hours away but I try and go once a year. I wish I had your eye!
+Bobbie I love that place too. There used to be one about 10 minutes from where I live. It closed down about 10 years ago. Now I have to drive about an hour to the nearest one. I only get there about 3 times a year.
I would be so terrified to spill on your gorgeous table scape! Seriously gorgeous Keri
Thank you lesson very well learned loved it all thanks for sharing 😊
K is for Karen sent me over and I subbed loved this video and the ideas and table scape! Thanks for sharing! Everything looks amazing!
TFS Keri.
Hugs and love,
Cathryn
+AMATEUR DECORATING LIKE A PRO Here you go...got me grinning from ear to ear. Boy do you know how to make a person feel good :) You know I get just as much excitement as you all when my tablescapes come together. I have know idea how they will turn out. I just start playing with my dishes and then somehow something magical appears. The only thing that I purchased to complete the tablescape was the wheat....everything else I already had.
I loved this video! You are totally inspiring me.
+Kelley Baker Awww, thanks! Your comment put a smile on my face :)
Great video Keri. I worked part-time for Williams-Sonoma for a while and even with my discount that tablescape would have cost me $1600.00.
That is amazing!
+Monie Guidry Thanks!!
Very Beautiful table!
+bosslady1598 Thanks!
