look this adapter support 250v ac voltage and 20amp current as input and 12v and 2amp as output. If your adapter supports this input then you can connect it.
you can use it , i will last long upto 1yr or may be more, my one last for 2yrs with some fused leds. it will consume approx 60w-80watt for 5m roll of type 5050 led.

Hi harsh. Thank you so much for your compliment. You can add all pieces in series to 12v 2 amp adapter. As well as you can add in parallel as well. But it is not wise to add multiple strips because it can overload the adapter as adapter is usually very chep and made up of low quality parts. For shorter size strip you can add in

Led strip ke 1 Kate huye part me to wire lage huye hote hain but furse part me nahi. To aapko dusre part ke liye connector lagana hoga yaa for 2 wire solder karni padegi contact points pe.

Hi sir, I was running 3 sets of led all of 16ft each with 3 different 12v 2 amp adapters recently one of the adapters broke, can I use one adapter to run 2 sets of 16ft LEDs?
You can use 1 adaptor but there is possibilty that light may go dim. I am using two 8ft strip on one adaptor by parallel connection successfully.
These lights draw 0.6 Amps per meter.
Now do the basic maths!

Your adapter must be less than required power. That is why it is going off again after 10sec
After cutting the strip ,can we use balanced strip ? How ,if it no have any connection wire ?
Then you will need to solder two wires on strip.
