It kinda hurts my heart. You never choose who you fell in love with but it still it somehow feels so unfair to Taichi who is been with chihaya all those years
Just because he was with her doesn't mean she owed him anything more than friendship. For Chihaya, Arata was someone that helped her realize her dream / passion , a mentor and someone she looked up to. So her love for him was way more deep and meaningful. She started playing karuta because he made her fall in love with it. However, Taichi was playing karuta just to be with Chihaya which was kinda lame. Thats why I think Arata and chihaya are a much better couple ^.^
@@starfire_xi I totally get ur point, and I agree. I like how the show shows the complex situation of a love triagle and really handles it well. Bc even if you have contact with a certain person for a long time that person DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU. But at the same time we cannot say that Chihaya did not own Taichi anything. Tbh for me its not that I do not like Arata I just probably got so attached to Taichi because his story was far more touching for me than Arata's. So seriously, not hard feelings for him I still kinda like him, but to see the suffering Taichi endured was bit too much. Ofc him suffering does not mean Chihaya needs to be with him, but... mhm we can say that it feels again as his bad luck is playing with him XD. Ehhh I in short: I just wanted my poor boy to be happy
