you may have already figured it out by now, but it means that mint rejected you. you can just try again the next day. increasing your relationship with him gives you a better chance at a successful confession.
Have you completed the southblock development quests? If not that is why also if ur dating other people that is also why, mint is the only character who will always reject u if ur dating someone else

I just thought that BFF statuses means u jusy ended up with ur crush as Friend, i try this bff statuses to gust, and he rejected me, he said he'll happy to stay as best friend..

It's not the voice, it's the delivery. It's bad acting.
