That Stuart light tank might have been one of the best light tanks of the second world war!

What a great video of a piece of history, and to see it in action (even though it was not in actual combat action), . At least it is still around, and it still runs. To those Negative "Nay-Sayer's, of whom insist upon posting ridiculous sarcastic comments you don't want to know what I think of you, and your stupid comments of sarcasm, as none of it is printable. And I hope that the spirits of every one of those soldiers of whom served in the M3 Stewart tanks return to Haunt you. The M3 Stewart tank may have been small, and not have been the best, or the most perfected tank ever built, and yes, they had their faults, of which they had many, but they at least still helped win the war and are an integral part of history. So, curb your nastiness, and sarcasm, along with your sarcastic remarks, and have a little respect for a piece of history (and for those of whom served in them), even though they were not the greatest piece of equipment ever built. - An Ex Tanker (retired, (1967-1995) B Co., 3rd Bn., 37th Armor, 4th Armored Division), who trained and served as a tank crewman, and worked, and held all positions as loader, gunner, driver, & tank commander in both M48A2's and M60A1's.

Absolutely! It was part of the evolution of tanks that eventually have produced the Abrams and Leopard tanks. Just as the WW1 "Jenny" technology evolved to a an FA 18 Super Hornet.

The M3A1, in 1941 and 42 still had better armor on the UGP and turret than most German III and IV variants in service.

@@peterson7082 Most only remember the later German tanks and the trouble Stuarts and Shermans had with them. This little tank was pretty quick and used for scout /recon. Thanks for pointing out the facts!
