I really like how you are laying it out and keeping it 💯, there are enough content writers on TH-cam just entertaining the masses. Yes, some do post protocol content, but the problem is that protocol changes constantly from place to place. This video will help keep some people that are new to the way of life from getting hurt. I'm in a 1% Club but a let that you said is true in my little Club we are Brothers frist. The trim 1% or come from outlaw Motorcycle Clubs in 40's and 50's from the AMA. I think that to be a 1%MC Member you have to have a little outlaw in you

always Interesting hearing a younger guys version of what a 1%er is, especially since it's been so WARPED over the years, with the clubs claiming the title amd forgetting many of the 1st 1%ers were lone wolves. The Term 1%er came from the Hollister California during a rally there some of the partying got out of hand, and it was covered by the formerly famous LIFE magazine (though it was discovered many years later that the photo's in the magazine were staged) After the Gypsy Tour Rally and Hill Climb put on by the AMA (American Motorcyclist Association) the AMA Claimed that the Trouble Makers were only 1% of the Motorcycle Community and 99% of Riders were Law Abiding Citizens. Well After that hit the NEWS many attendee's of the rally who didn't like what the AMA had said started cutting up their club patches to cut out the AMA, This is how the 3 piece was Born, and the Term Cut, it's NOT because of Cut off sleeves or a Vest, it was because they Cut their patches. Understand the Common AMA Club Patch in the day was a Round patch with club name at the top, where they were from at the bottom with the club logo in the center and to the left and right of that was the AMA and the clubs AMA Number, when they cut out the AMA and Number you suddenly had a top rocker, bottom rocker and center logo and the MC Cube was added and the 1% Diamond, But back in those days ANYONE who didn't agree with the AMA was a 1%er, even if they were NOT in a Club, in Fact in the late 40's and early 50's there were More Solo's flying a 1% Diamond than Clubs, there is an old Boxer and biker and Famous Solo 1%er up here in the Rhode Island Area, who was always having issued with 81 because he refused to give up his 1% diamonds that he's worn for over 50-60 years, All the other stuff is all made up by the Clubs over the years and has little to do with Reality. And Danny D Low you are doing your young friend a favor, the club world is trying to clean up it's Gang Reputations, and i don't care how bad ass you think you are, there is always someone Badder, i once knew a club Sgt at Arms thought he was a Badass and was always pushing his muscle around, and he heard a guy had been bad mouthing his behavior especially around civilians, one day this SA ran into this guy in a parking lot and after some shouting tried to sucker punch the guy, and got his ASS BEAT, turns out the guy he tried to sucker punch was a 5th Dan Black Belt and a New England Heavy weight Champion, NEVER Call out people you don't know, like the famous line in Sonny's Movie Everyone is a Tough Guy, Till they Meet One !!! Respect is Earned, Not Demanded or Commanded it's Earned, And Not Everyone is a keyboard Warrior, Ask the members of a Florida club who got shot, or the members of a Chicago club who got shot because they thought mud checking a so-called cop club was a good idea, or going 5 to 1 was being a man. And i RESPECT what you are saying that Most Club Members are Not Trying to be Tough guys and frankly assholes, but there are still enough in the club world to give the clubs a bad reputation.

I don’t know why TH-cam fed me this video really. But since it did, I’ll tell you a story. I have only ever had one interaction with a man wearing club colors in my life. I was over at the race shop that’s in an industrial complex and I was loading up my race car by myself and it’s like 7 or 8 at night and there’s me and a couple other dudes in the whole place. I kinda needed a little bit of help, so I walked over to these guys and introduced myself and asked if one of those guys could push the button on the winch for me while I held the steering wheel straight. Those dudes were glad to help. Wasn’t really a big deal at all. Respect gets respect. Just the prospective of some random guy. Good video.

Heres what confuses me! The history behind the 1%er all started when the AMA stated in an article the whole 99% motorcyclist are law abiding bikers and the 1% are not law abiding! With that being said! The fact that there is still rules and by laws in 1%er MC is Ironic! The whole deal about being non 99% was about not living by the rules/laws! I consider myself to be a 1%er. To me, a 1%er describes the one percent of society that follows his own path and who follows his own code of ethics and morals, instead of the ethics and morals that society tries to push on you.
I actually thought about making my own 1%er clothing and hats and stuff and wearing them. But I didn't wanna attract any biker attention. But the thing is I am not a biker and I don't try to be one.
That raises an interesting question that maybe you could answer. Would a one percenter biker be offended by a guy wearing a 1%er hat or shirt if it was obvious he wasn't trying to be a biker? Or would they still take offense even if you're not dressed like or acting like a biker?
