- This is a Mod, Not a Mod Map. Having the map will only have a bunch of buildings and people. None of the stuff seen in this video will be possible. Now read the rest below Or just read the questions to see if your question is answered. No this does not work online since its a mod... Mods do not work online unless someone else has the mod aswell, so stop bitching on how I am a cheater when you do not know what the hell your talking about.

Nowhere. This is a mod I made and never finished. Never released. I dont even have it anymore. I am doing my best to remake it and its almost finished. However, I recently uploaded what I have done. You can see the download link in this video here link dont work for some reason
The mod is unfinished, and has been scrapped. It does not have massive parabomb spam, but it does have parabombs :) it also haves over 100 units.

Command & Conquer Red alert: Yuri's Revenge. You can buy it i The First Decade pack.
3. what did you use to make this mod? How do you make one?
If you follow this video's steps... You could learn the basics. You wont be able to learn all of this right away... Though could learn in one day if you start from the beginning and get used to it (And visit the best modding sites for yuri's revenge/RA2 and read their tutuorials)

4. is it hard to make?
I made it and I am terrible at modding. So no.. Its quite easy. What is difficult is making a good mod having the side bar icons and making the game balanced.
5. Does this work online?/Your a cheater/HAAAAX
No, This does not work online unless the other people have it installed also... So it isnt really a cheat since they get it all too.
6. Why is it so unbalanced/or time so fast?
I made them recharge to just show off. In realitty, they take 10 mins for each missile. The parabombs also take time to recharge. The parabombs were buggy if you noticed and they were fixed :) So everything you seen was just for the video.
7. How did you make the buildings instantly yours?

I know. Video qualitty was bad. I was new to the internet at the time and did not even know that screen capture existed until about a month after this was recorded. So do not bother giving me a long discussion how I should not use a digital camera... Specially since I do not have one anymore ;_;

It's good to know that there are still red alert 2 gamers out there.I play alot of old games and most pple abandond it
i love how they build like 10 cities worth of command centers, barracks, airforce command centers and pillboxes in 10 seconds

There are infinite possibilities in the ini man - you can make it so a crate appears every second, although it's kinda hard to change what crates don't appear. you can change the frequency though

As soon as the first flak cannon is destroyed, all the MCVs rush out and instantly construct like 5 bases. Hilarious.

@EyedeaXAbilities indeed. IRL, the only time bombs had parachutes was really big explosions so the planes had enough time to escape, but small explosions just would not have parachutes. However, Ra1 had it that way, so I figured I'd do it too.

that nuke alarm is the best part of the game
I cant believe you still lost considering you started with all that AND the ai was trapped.... fail XD . Parabombs are awesome, found it kind of funny some of the planes get caught in the blast :D. and last but not least, those AI are like a plague, the instant you release them they spread like crazy. Cool vid! :D
@WARDEATHFUN There's a reasonable little modification you could make to avoid the animation stacking .. The main problem is that parabombs are hurting/killing eachother (so when one explodes, the whole string of them do). By setting their armor to one of the special types (used for terror drones or missiles), and tweaking the warhead to be ineffective against that type, they wouldn't all explode at the same time.
this is sweet, how did you the parabombs at the start, i use the xcc files, good for a laugh to and spice up the play abit

Yah, I know about all that. I avoided that since I wanted it to hurt Terror drones too. When this video was made I was very new to modding and it was not until Npatch with new armor types that I even bothered fixing the error. :)

@EssenceOfScience that doesnt stop it from saying unit lost. Infact the parabomb had Significant=no on it :/
How did you clone the nuke? and did you use other superweapons that were already there and change them? also, did you have more than 2 seperate paradrops? I can only figure out how to get 2...

It's very simple, if you play a skirmish, all you need is to take control of an enemy command center, if you play with the allies, you capture the soviet command center and simply build up their constructions, that means you can build a nuclear silo, quite easy.
@Picisid oooh, make a skirmish mode you mean! Like multiplayer mode and stuff. There is a tutorial I beleive is made, but I am unsure. Do you know how to make mods at all?

the music when you get onto the main menu.. it reminds me of my dads house.. because he plays it when im over there ( on friday ) and his freind is going to add computars so all 3 of us can play as a team aganist 5

3 nuclear missiles are not necesary to take the statue of liberty down if you can do that with only one or two
don't target the staaue of liberty directly,target clear area near the statue of liberty and you'll destroy that statue maybe with one nuke
notice how the game slowed down with all the explosions?
to avaoid this happening.........

RUN
DXDIAG
go to the DISPLAY TAB and disable DIRECT DRAW ACCELERATION... this will also disable the bottom two. The game will now run faster then before.
Just be sure to turn these back on again once u have finished playing.
At 6 minutes it shows how the dinosaurs really went extinct.

You're wrong actually. You're thinking of the now, when 3 TB platters are common and cheap. You gotta remember, the biggest hard drive for single space that XP supported in 07 was 160 GB, and SATA was a brand new tech. Yes, a 500GB platter drive was 400$ a piece back then, especially if it was SATA, which is the only way you'd RAID 0 (also a new technology then) anything. PATA drive is a 32-bit address, meaning it can only address so much space, the biggest PATA I've seen is 320 GB, even today.
@WARDEATHFUN Oo thanks for the info but it would be great if you can change some units into superunits. Like the apocalypse tank, maybe you can remod it and make it fast as the Flak Track and has Dreadnought like damage. Can you make a video like that? Please?

That game with todays graphics = EPIC ORGASMIC GAME! RA2 is the game in the series which I think is the best. Though the Tiberium-universe has the best story. :)

ok thanks... i have another problem. I downloaded both psi file of mental omega 2.0 and the expansion version but the expansion is with the extension .exe and when i try running it it says error in reading the mod, so what should i use to open/run the .exe file?
Can you help me here? I tried setting paradrop to drop 100 Apocalypse Tanks and 100 Prism Tanks. It worked, but all of the tanks are invisible. Do you have any idea of why?

i have a problem dude, whenever i started a campaign or skirmish in red alert 2..ALL OF my units are automatically dies..how can i fix this problem?
