One of the best Marilyn tutorials I have ever seen.
As a fellow MM fan, i will tell you that, I am very impressed on your technique. You got the style down 100%, and not very many people can do that. My only thought is that, Marilyn's hair was a bit longer in "GPB", otherwise, that is a perfect style for the 1950's Marilyn.

Brilliant job very well done!!! A wig maker told me that you can put hot rollers on a synthetic wig as long as they are not too hot .' If the roller is too hot to hold in your hand it's too hot for the wig' quote.

I've been styling hair for years, this set is absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to try it! Was this a synthetic wig you used? I set a synthetic wig reccently steamed then used hit rollers afterwards and it worked well.

Did u use steam to curl? Because u said u need to waif till they're cool.
No steam, just the hot rollers. They do get really warm so it's important to let the hair cool in that rolled up shape for the most resilient curl possible. I hope this helps!

I have been searching and searching for the perfect wig for my MM look and i can't find one :( Max price would be $35. I'm good at DIY hairstyling on wigs, if i can find one that is close enough to it, that will be fine. I would also like to find a wig that is like the REAL MM ... Before she was Marilyn Monroe she was just a normal girl named Norma Jean! I love her natural hair as well! Any help or advice would be appreciated!! Thank you!
Sadly I don't think there is a "perfect" mass-produced Marilyn wig for sale. Wig makers and manufacturers nowadays (at least that I've come across) either offer a very generic hairstyle or the wrong color/length. If you are comfortable cutting hair, I would suggest finding a long blonde lace front and cutting the hair to the correct length. Then maybe customizing the hairline shape to look more like Marilyn's if you are comfortable with that as well. Good luck on your search! 💜
What wig is this?
This is a wig from the Express Yourself Collection, according to the tag. Not sure which style specifically as I've had it for a few years. But this tutorial should work on a bob length wig! I'd suggest showing this video to a stylist at a wig store. Hopefully this helps.

Jacob Cannon that's not the same wig as in the video, that's one made by a chinese company and sold by a few companies via amazon, ebay etc. The one he's using in the video is Express yourself Collection by WigAmerica

Pepper Provasnik I never claimed it was the exact wig, just something similar that would fit all the qualifications for a decent budget lacefront. A lot of wig stylists use wholesale chinese websites for their wigs. Half the time they buy them for 30 or 40 dollars each then mark them up to 100 each once in the states.
