This is the most authentic Marilyn I have seen,on here,well done on an excellent lookalike.I am 75 years old and this is the way we use to do our hair.We didn't have the equipment that you girls do today, but we would set our hair all over on Bobby pins,then run our fingers through it for the tousled look.Your makeup was spot on to I am glad I found your video (nostalgia )takes me back to my youth.Thank you for sharing this with us.May I say very profesional And best of all on Utube.
I would love to hear more from a person who actually had seen people do this in the old days, my grandma unfortunately when I ask her she starts talking about a complete different thing like naming Hollywood stars. :/
karolina walkowiak my grandmother, aunt, and sister were/are hairdressers and I learned so much. One thing I do know is most women would have a wave perm and do the pin curls for huge volume and staying power! Thank goodness for curling irons these days though.
Great job. I have naturally straight hair and I have to sleep in rollers to get my curls to stay, but you did a good job shaping them with the brush... very helpful.

I was thinking I could acieve this look because we have the same length, but, I realized we both have two completely different types of hair texture. I notice her hair sits exactly where she puts it. My hair is stringy and oily and the curls will probably fall, even at the same length as hers. Wondering if I can cut it a little shorter and still get the same look.

I only use windows movie maker ,you can still record hd on your iphone ,im just having problems cos my internet isn't playing it in HD aghhh lol nightmare ,good luck with your channel :) xx
How you do not burn yourself not wearing a glove 🧤 using a wand, I burned my forehead and fingers more often then I would have liked, I only use a straightener now , you pulled it off, it looks like her hair 😍😎
I love this look. Problem is whenever I curl my hair the curls drop and become straight. How were you able to keep hair from dropping without using any products?
Yeah hair damage is a big concern of mine. I try to do curls like this with rollers instead of a curling iron but still. I try hair spray and even that doesn’t work.

Did you do this on freshly washed hair or 1 or 2 day? Did you use any other products before blow drying?
i cant remmeber i usually just use heat protecting spray ,at this point my hair was so dry it kinda kept in place without products lol xx
