I do feel, in a sense, this isn't really saying that much. It's like saying "that singer isn't as good as Freddie Mercury" or "Jimi Hendrix was better than this guitarist". But maybe I'm biased.

I wouldn't be surprised if all three of them are up on the stage together at some point. Their talent levels are stratospheric. Lzzy is friends with both of them, and given how well The Warning get along with bands they tour with, Amy and Dany will be too.
Hey Johnny, the best video of Dany singing with Three Days Grace was filmed by Renee Smoke. The quality of the film and the sound is very good. Dany is incredible, acting out the song on stage. When she pointed to the crowd, several people tried to reach out and touch Dany’s fingertips. You know the crowd loved her. Barry Stock of Three Days Grace returned the gesture, playing Choke with The Warning when Ale, while on stage, was ill.
Dany loose from her guitar is an amazing pure-vocals frontwoman! Love all the videos of her with TDG on this song. The way she stalks around the stage, calling the audience to her while belting it out, and throws in moves like that jump near the end... awesome!
Seeing Danny jump around like that, kinda reminded me of Pau when she sang Narcisista live LOL. She did a great job, you´re right, the crowd came alive when she came out.

Dany could front any band and her presence would instantly improve the group by several orders of magnitude. Not just because she's awesome, but because her awesomeness inspires others around her.
The Warning opened for TDG last year for about 10 shows in Canada. They invited Dany to sing a song with them and she said Painkiller. The guy with the beard his name escapes me played with The Warning on one song at a show.

Dany with the guitar is fire (like Ale and Pau), but without the guitar she goes nuclear. They would have to hire a guitarrist for their tours. I wonder if they will ever do it. They just have so much potential
I cant personally see them doing something like that. It would change the dynamic of the band I believe. Not to say I couldn't get used to it but I just don't know. Something special about them all being siblings and it being just them. I appreciate you my friend! ⚡️🤘🧸⚡️
@@eaglezone45 I agree, I personally like it likt that, they are family, a member that it's not family would cahnge therir dyanamics. Also Dany looks hella cool with all those guitars, and she LOVES to play, I don't think she will be happy to be hand free to go jumping all the concert. And a lot of people complains about the lack of solos but for the mother of God, just enjoy the damn music, stop waiting for them to be just like any freaking band, being three, being sister and not fallowing the tipical song structure all the time, it's what set them apart of the other bands.
Totally agree that The Warning seem to put on an experience not just a song list. I can hardly believe my first concert will be here in less than a month. I had so much fun a couple of years ago at a Our Lady Peace concert, but that was heavily nostalgia-based, with some awesome new stuff thrown in. Was it worth the money/time? Absofukinglutely. Will a Warning concert be more than that? I have no doubt they will exceed even high expectations cause they seem to just live for performing in front of a crowd and having fun WITH us. Couple extras... Not sure if using this version was copyright-related, but the version of that performance on Rock am Ring's channel is better audio, and better angles of Dany doing her thing on stage. Also, very much looking forward to the Breathe experience ;). And you did promise a look at Dany's "Will you cry with Dany" live didn't you? Finally, now that you've seen the energy Dany brings to covers, there's a few lives she did with nothing but fan-suggested songs to sing on the spot. My personal favourite was the vid with "Carry on My Wayward Son" because apparently that must have been written for her voice...

I didn't realize it wasn't an officially release live until I checked again now, rather someone else put it on youtube. The things she talks about are very important topics with a very mature and intelligent message, but also deeply personaland not meant for the general public. So maybe watch it on your own, write down a couple thoughts and add a bit to the discussion with a different video. For sure you would appreciate what she has to say. As for the Kansas cover, she actually did it twice! "The Warning - Dany Sing the song that you ask" at about 4:35 is that song. And then in a much longer video where she did a bunch off-the-cuff "The Warning | Dany singing". When I saw they were coming to town I already I knew I was spending some big money for good seats. And then I had to also get tickets to a later show where they are the headliners, because of course.

Dany brings the energy, the charisma, and the voice in spades, and the 3DG fans loved her! Tbh I don't know that much about 3DG but props to them for how supportive they've been of Dany and TW. 🙌
@@JohnnyFoxtrotshowall good! When they toured together in Canada Dany sang Painkiller with them several times and 3DG guitar player played with TW several times one song per set and Dany was just lead vocalist for that song.
Everybody that works with Dany seems to love her. Lzzy Hale and Matt Bellamy gave her guitars. She sang this with TDG multiple times on their Canadian tour and then they invited her out again here at Rock am Ring. She always lights up the stage. Of course the same is true for the whole band. Every time they tour with someone they seem to get invited back.

I went to see The Warning when they were opening for Three Days Grace, pau and Ale where sick and the warning didn't show. I left before Three Days Grace started, personally I think they are horrible!!! There are way better videos of Dany singing painkiller than this one. Can't wait for Breath and Black holes. It's funny. You made me laugh. What you said is soooo true. I have worked for so many "had-been" bands who are just working. Phone it in as it were. What The Warning plays is not that technical ... at all. What makes them and their songs good is that they are composed very well. Every part is crafted and well thought out. Nothing is added that doesn't need to be there, and they never, never overplay. But what they are playing is not difficult to play. They are not a technical band. They are a pure riff driven rock band, that knows how to write great songs first. That's why they have so many good songs. They are song writers first, players second. IMO that's what most bands lack. I'm not even talking about how they perform ... that's another thing entirely.

Quinn met The Warning when they were opening for Three Days Grace in 2022. She was 15, and got a meet & greet ticket. Being a virtually unknown band up here at the time, Quinn was joined by one other fan in line. They signed her Jackson guitar, and you can see that in the Crown and Thieves version of Daughters Of Witches.
Replacing singers of iconic bands, my opinion: David Lee Roth replaced by Sammy Hagar: A wash, Van Halen were the brothers, each singer had a great stretch w/ The VH brothers (I wish I got to see DLR's VH, but my goodness did Sammy kick some a$$ on the 51/50 tour) Bon Scott replaced by Brian Johnson.... TBH I feel Bon's legend was iconic because he lived that iconic 'rock and Roll, Super Nova Bright but short life' lifestyle. Bon had some great hits, we will never know his potential, but I think Brian Johnson has earned his spot given the many hits and his longevity. Freddie Mercury replaced by Adam Lambert..... This is one I'd agree w/ you, should've changed the name. I respect what Lambert has done in his career, but replacing arguably THE greatest frontman is a tough act for ANY vocalist. Peter Green replaced by Stevie Nicks & Lyndsay Buckingham.... not really any argument, other than there might have not been a FM w/o Peter Green. Peter Gabriel replaced by Phil Collins..... I'm coming to realise, many of the OG vocalists on this list weren't the band's vocalist when the band was most profitable... Almost all these bands have 'iconic' OG singers, but when they were most profitable was, in a lot of cases, the singer that replaced the OG singers (Queen being the only caveat in my above list...No one replaces Freddie)... Chicago's Terry Kath's replacement, their bassist, Peter Cetera, took the band to their highest highs, their biggest hits. Pink Floyd hit it's highest height after Syd Barrett went crazy handing the lead off to David Gilmour. Iron Maiden's another example.... who remembers their OG singer Paul Di'Anno over Bruce Dickinson?

Very accurate and well thought out comment. To add to it a bit in regards to Iron Maiden, who remembers Bruce's replacement for those two albums in the 90's? The band was sinking fast until Bruce came back in 1999. In regards to this video, I lost all interest in TDG after Adam left. I was lucky enough to see them live before that happened and it was awesome. But after . . . just not the same. The only other time I can think of that worked for changing singers is when Dio joined Black Sabbath. It was short-lived, but man, those two albums are amazing.

Dear God, Dany comes out and the crowd comes to life! You're absolutely right. You could absolutely hear the energy come out of the crowd. And, yeah, of course some were probably like, "Oh the hot chick is back, YAY!", but I think the majority get it. And her voice CLEARLY blows away 3DG lead singer dude. She's so young, and she comes out and takes over 3DG stage and owns it until it's time for her to relinquish ownership at the end of the song. Fun reaction. Big props to 3DG for letting her take their stage several times on this tour and letting people who otherwise had no clue who The Warning were, experience a legend in the making.
A few have mentioned this was just a poor video for TDG's sake. I do love that they are supporting her and The Warning. That does appear to be very genuine through and through ⚡️🤘🧸⚡️

TDG still has 2 of the 3 founding members and the new lead singer is the bass players brother. Barry Stock who used to be an absolute party animal has played on stage with the warning and apparently they adore him. If you look at almost all the bands that have toured with or TW has opened with they just fall in love with the 3 of them. As for LP Emily seems to be a good fit to join Mike's band, as of now she is the bands 3rd lead singer so far.

@JohnnyFoxtrotShow you got to give props to TDG for closing for The Warning on their tour through Canada 2 years ago. Especially their guitarist Barry who actually played Choke with them leaving Dany to run around on stage without guitar responsibilities for once. DPA usually say happy birthday to him on Instagram. If you're a smart older act you recognize the up and coming superstars when you see them and support them along the way.
The energy levels explode when Dany joins on stage! I like TDG, and this is a great, high-energy song, but she amps it off the charts. TDG had her join them for this song about 7 times, if I recall, and she took it to a new level every time - her powerful voice, her moves, and her epic stage presence!
Dany is just freaking awesome. Thanks for showing the video- we just like it because of her. Was really great they had her sing with them. She's also a class act as she recognized each band member- doesn't act like a diva. And yes- she's such a super front person. That's why a lot of us suggested it- mainly to see what her voice and presence does- magic. I'm not a TDG fan, but this video shows The Warning's absolute power, in this case, Dany's. Credit must be given to TDG for supporting The Warning- remember all the guys in TDG are dads and have kids pretty much Ale's age- and everyone cannot help love Dany, Pau and Ale as if they were our own kids. Nice TDG doesn't have the arrogance or egos of many bands. Great channel as always friend!

Women in rock should be celebrated, there aren't as many as there should be...The Warning, Lzzy Hale of Halestorm, Band Maid, Vixen, etc. Need more women the genre, they are killing it lately. Oh and seeing the Mexican Jumping Bean known as Daniella Villarreal join TDG...sweet!

I understand what you’re saying about switching vocalists but there’s some examples that is not always to downgrade : AC/ DC , Iron Maiden, Van Halen, Marillion, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac just to name a few. In some cases the replacement was as good as the original and in some others it was even better IMHO
You're absolutely right! A few have mentioned some of the Amazing Acts you've listed. I truly do want any Artist to find their success and loyal fan base. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. There are better recordings if you want to see Dany with 3 days Grace. She did it when they toured together in Canada. AC/DC changed lead singers and Back in Black was by far there biggest album.
Oh man, Dany is a beast of it’s own level as front artist, the fact that Lzzy Hale and Matt Bellamy gifted her custom guitars speaks volumes. Her dad described her in a video with the word sunshine. She is basically like the automatic sun they wrote about.
Its even more weird for me to see Dany without a guitar than it is to see Pau out from behind the kit. Having said that they both have a natural syltage oresence which is undeniable.
It's awesome to see Dany just with the microphone and her voice been a frontwoman with a male band with her energy and charisma. Btw I saw this in another video more from her perspective.
For the most part you’re correct, but I beg to differ. Black Sabbath- Ronnie James Dio. I love Ozzy, always have, but Heaven and Hell was a screaming kick ass album and Dio was an awesome vocalist and writer. I just look at them like two different bands, Ozzy Sabbath and Dio Sabbath, I loved them both. I know there are those that are screaming at their screens right now, and I suggest they go have lie down in a cool dark place and rub some ointment on there swollen metal manginas. It’s music, you’re allowed to like different things. I promise Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler won’t show up at your house and shake their heads in silent disapproval.

Also Dany looks hella cool with all those guitars, and she LOVES to play, I don't think she will be happy to be hand free to go jumping all the concert. And a lot of people complains about the lack of solos but for the mother of God, just enjoy the damn music, stop waiting for them to be just like any freaking band, being three, being sister and not fallowing the tipical song structure all the time, it's what set them apart of the other bands.

Totally agree that The Warning seem to put on an experience not just a song list. I can hardly believe my first concert will be here in less than a month. I had so much fun a couple of years ago at a Our Lady Peace concert, but that was heavily nostalgia-based, with some awesome new stuff thrown in. Was it worth the money/time? Absofukinglutely. Will a Warning concert be more than that? I have no doubt they will exceed even high expectations cause they seem to just live for performing in front of a crowd and having fun WITH us.
Couple extras... Not sure if using this version was copyright-related, but the version of that performance on Rock am Ring's channel is better audio, and better angles of Dany doing her thing on stage.
Also, very much looking forward to the Breathe experience ;). And you did promise a look at Dany's "Will you cry with Dany" live didn't you?
Finally, now that you've seen the energy Dany brings to covers, there's a few lives she did with nothing but fan-suggested songs to sing on the spot. My personal favourite was the vid with "Carry on My Wayward Son" because apparently that must have been written for her voice...

I didn't realize it wasn't an officially release live until I checked again now, rather someone else put it on youtube. The things she talks about are very important topics with a very mature and intelligent message, but also deeply personaland not meant for the general public. So maybe watch it on your own, write down a couple thoughts and add a bit to the discussion with a different video. For sure you would appreciate what she has to say.
As for the Kansas cover, she actually did it twice! "The Warning - Dany Sing the song that you ask" at about 4:35 is that song. And then in a much longer video where she did a bunch off-the-cuff "The Warning | Dany singing".

Everybody that works with Dany seems to love her. Lzzy Hale and Matt Bellamy gave her guitars. She sang this with TDG multiple times on their Canadian tour and then they invited her out again here at Rock am Ring. She always lights up the stage. Of course the same is true for the whole band. Every time they tour with someone they seem to get invited back.

I went to see The Warning when they were opening for Three Days Grace, pau and Ale where sick and the warning didn't show. I left before Three Days Grace started, personally I think they are horrible!!! There are way better videos of Dany singing painkiller than this one. Can't wait for Breath and Black holes. It's funny. You made me laugh. What you said is soooo true. I have worked for so many "had-been" bands who are just working. Phone it in as it were. What The Warning plays is not that technical ... at all. What makes them and their songs good is that they are composed very well. Every part is crafted and well thought out. Nothing is added that doesn't need to be there, and they never, never overplay. But what they are playing is not difficult to play. They are not a technical band. They are a pure riff driven rock band, that knows how to write great songs first. That's why they have so many good songs. They are song writers first, players second. IMO that's what most bands lack. I'm not even talking about how they perform ... that's another thing entirely.

Quinn met The Warning when they were opening for Three Days Grace in 2022. She was 15, and got a meet & greet ticket. Being a virtually unknown band up here at the time, Quinn was joined by one other fan in line. They signed her Jackson guitar, and you can see that in the Crown and Thieves version of Daughters Of Witches.

Replacing singers of iconic bands, my opinion:
David Lee Roth replaced by Sammy Hagar: A wash, Van Halen were the brothers, each singer had a great stretch w/ The VH brothers (I wish I got to see DLR's VH, but my goodness did Sammy kick some a$$ on the 51/50 tour)
Bon Scott replaced by Brian Johnson.... TBH I feel Bon's legend was iconic because he lived that iconic 'rock and Roll, Super Nova Bright but short life' lifestyle. Bon had some great hits, we will never know his potential, but I think Brian Johnson has earned his spot given the many hits and his longevity.
Freddie Mercury replaced by Adam Lambert..... This is one I'd agree w/ you, should've changed the name. I respect what Lambert has done in his career, but replacing arguably THE greatest frontman is a tough act for ANY vocalist.
Peter Green replaced by Stevie Nicks & Lyndsay Buckingham.... not really any argument, other than there might have not been a FM w/o Peter Green.
Peter Gabriel replaced by Phil Collins.....
I'm coming to realise, many of the OG vocalists on this list weren't the band's vocalist when the band was most profitable... Almost all these bands have 'iconic' OG singers, but when they were most profitable was, in a lot of cases, the singer that replaced the OG singers (Queen being the only caveat in my above list...No one replaces Freddie)... Chicago's Terry Kath's replacement, their bassist, Peter Cetera, took the band to their highest highs, their biggest hits. Pink Floyd hit it's highest height after Syd Barrett went crazy handing the lead off to David Gilmour. Iron Maiden's another example.... who remembers their OG singer Paul Di'Anno over Bruce Dickinson?

To add to it a bit in regards to Iron Maiden, who remembers Bruce's replacement for those two albums in the 90's? The band was sinking fast until Bruce came back in 1999.
In regards to this video, I lost all interest in TDG after Adam left. I was lucky enough to see them live before that happened and it was awesome. But after . . . just not the same.
The only other time I can think of that worked for changing singers is when Dio joined Black Sabbath. It was short-lived, but man, those two albums are amazing.

Dear God, Dany comes out and the crowd comes to life! You're absolutely right. You could absolutely hear the energy come out of the crowd. And, yeah, of course some were probably like, "Oh the hot chick is back, YAY!", but I think the majority get it. And her voice CLEARLY blows away 3DG lead singer dude. She's so young, and she comes out and takes over 3DG stage and owns it until it's time for her to relinquish ownership at the end of the song. Fun reaction. Big props to 3DG for letting her take their stage several times on this tour and letting people who otherwise had no clue who The Warning were, experience a legend in the making.
A few have mentioned this was just a poor video for TDG's sake. I do love that they are supporting her and The Warning. That does appear to be very genuine through and through ⚡️🤘🧸⚡️

TDG still has 2 of the 3 founding members and the new lead singer is the bass players brother. Barry Stock who used to be an absolute party animal has played on stage with the warning and apparently they adore him. If you look at almost all the bands that have toured with or TW has opened with they just fall in love with the 3 of them. As for LP Emily seems to be a good fit to join Mike's band, as of now she is the bands 3rd lead singer so far.

Especially their guitarist Barry who actually played Choke with them leaving Dany to run around on stage without guitar responsibilities for once. DPA usually say happy birthday to him on Instagram. If you're a smart older act you recognize the up and coming superstars when you see them and support them along the way.
The energy levels explode when Dany joins on stage! I like TDG, and this is a great, high-energy song, but she amps it off the charts. TDG had her join them for this song about 7 times, if I recall, and she took it to a new level every time - her powerful voice, her moves, and her epic stage presence!
It was really cool to see her move around without her equipment. Love that TDG had her perform with them multiple times. Always appreciate you! ⚡️🤘🧸⚡️

Dany is just freaking awesome. Thanks for showing the video- we just like it because of her. Was really great they had her sing with them. She's also a class act as she recognized each band member- doesn't act like a diva. And yes- she's such a super front person. That's why a lot of us suggested it- mainly to see what her voice and presence does- magic. I'm not a TDG fan, but this video shows The Warning's absolute power, in this case, Dany's. Credit must be given to TDG for supporting The Warning- remember all the guys in TDG are dads and have kids pretty much Ale's age- and everyone cannot help love Dany, Pau and Ale as if they were our own kids. Nice TDG doesn't have the arrogance or egos of many bands. Great channel as always friend!

I understand what you’re saying about switching vocalists but there’s some examples that is not always to downgrade : AC/ DC , Iron Maiden, Van Halen, Marillion, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac just to name a few. For the most part you’re correct, but I beg to differ. Black Sabbath- Ronnie James Dio. I love Ozzy, always have, but Heaven and Hell was a screaming kick ass album and Dio was an awesome vocalist and writer. I just look at them like two different bands, Ozzy Sabbath and Dio Sabbath, I loved them both. I know there are those that are screaming at their screens right now, and I suggest they go have lie down in a cool dark place and rub some ointment on there swollen metal manginas. It’s music, you’re allowed to like different things. I promise Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler won’t show up at your house and shake their heads in silent disapproval.
