Excellent review and explanations for a first time T series 10 owner and user. Many Thanks for touching on so many key points. (1) Can you explain how to adjust the flex cushioning on/off, etc ? (2) Can you provide some tidbits on using this treadmill without an iFit membership??
(1) you have to rotate each of the six shock absorbers. The "off" side is labeled. (2) If you don't subscribe to iFIT or create a membership, don't connect the treadmill to Wi-Fi. You can then use it in manual mode only. There are no onboard workouts without a free iFIT account. You can make an iFIT account without paying for the membership, and then you get a few more workout options.
Just purchased this treadmill. Thanks for the great review. It helped me be more assured about my purchase. The user guide doesn’t cover cushioning. How do you adjust cushioning?
Thanks for the in-depth review! My wife and I are seriously considering this machine, but you mentioned that the 3HP motor is probably the biggest limitation of this model. My wife primarily runs outside, but when weather demands it, she'll run inside, and will occasionally do 10+ miles at a time. Do you think the motor will handle occasional long distance runs?
It's hard to give exact numbers because more than just the amount of running can affect the motor. It's also the user's running form, their weight, time between uses, etc. I generally consider moderate running to be 30 miles or less per week. If you are running 10 miles daily, I would consider that more advanced, and I recommend something more powerful. I wish I could provide more concrete numbers, but there are so many other variables involved.
I like Sole's warranty better, and there are fewer things that can break on the F63 since it doesn't have the high-tech features or the soft cushioning. That said, the folding mechanism on the T Series 10 is sturdier and the incline is more accurate. It's kind of a mixed bag.
In my opinion I would pick the Horizon 7.0 AT. It’s just better overall quality without the paid subscription expense. Oh yeah it’s $300-$400 cheaper depends on the promotion they’re having at Johnson health tech.

@TreadmillReviewGuru Thank you so much, which way do the absorbers need to be facing to be Off ?

Oops. Never mind. I just noticed that you had a written review. Thanks for adding that!
No problem! Let me know if you have any additional questions!

Yes, I've run longer runs on it without any problems. It works great as a back up for rainy or snowy days!
Is there a way to connect the screen with iPhone Bluetooth?
No, NordicTrack treadmills and their speakers don't connect to phones currently. Bluetooth just connects heart rate monitors and headphones.
Hello, what is moderate running to you? Is it around 10 miles? What is the miles range for average running and advance running?

Do you think this treadmill is as reliable as the Sole F63?

The Horizon 7.0 AT is definitely a solid option, especially if you don't want the subscription.
