So real and naturally funny. Mr. Trent’s commentary and genuine ‘don’t take yourself too seriously’ outlook on these hunts is refreshing and fun! His love of the elk game is obvious, of course - but comes across as just a dude like the rest of us who just simply loves to hunt!
This is a great confidence building comment! As someone who videos myself and then edits this myself, it’s always hard to gauge if the audience understands me or not. I’m glad you do! THANK YOU!
Good deal - was hoping you’d be encouraged. There’s enough trolls out there always trying to do the opposite. God bless, Mr. Trent - and keep at it :).
Yep! I’m rarely within eyesite of a popular road by sunup, but the amount of people I have seen on it during that first hour of daylight is staggering!
I finished it. Great content man. You had a great opening day….but who forgets the grunt tube? Oh yeah, I did too. Only I left it at a trail ambush chasing a bugle. Made it a couple hundred yards before I realized. Same as your day, except only one elk was seen, and not stuck.
Haha! Thanks for watching the whole thing! Episode 2 from the season out tomorrow! I usually forget the bugle tube once or twice a season! Too much to remember!
Definitely counts for both species! the vast majority of the time I seem to be the only one on the roads 2 hours before daylight, when hunting elk. not sure why!
As always, that was very good stuff. You make me want to figure this out. Might have to get a bow and start practicing. You’re looking pretty good with that hat and those sunglasses upside down. Meant to be match made in heaven.
@TrentWilliamsOutdoors1 sorry, I have absolutely no idea who you are, but we're getting inundated with Utah hunters here in Wyoming, and you guys appear to fit-the-bill.
@@paulv8133Did I get up before daylight? Yes. Did I wear a flatbrim hat? No. Did I camp right next to somebody else when there were plenty of other places to camp? No That’s the checklist for Utah hunters. And yes I’ve lived in Wyoming for all of my 33 years of life.
hey Scott. really I love it!! The only negative I have to say is I’ve now broke the zipper twice, but I think that’s my doing getting everything too tight and then the zipper suffers. But the simplicity of setting it up, the design, the quality, has all been outstanding.

Thank you for watching Tony! I’m glad you enjoyed it and learned from it!
@@TrentWilliamsOutdoors1 👍🏻 leaving the tent at dark and not at first light is a great tip. Especially with merriams and elk!

@TrentWilliamsOutdoors1 hahaha, dude you nailed it. My sincere apologies!
Thank you 😁 . apology accepted ;)
I can taste it. Well done.
Yep. Me too! 2 weeks away from carrying a bow! 😁 Glad you enjoyed it!
Good job.
Thank you!
I’ll finish the vid, but how are you liking that tent vs a say 10x12 wall tent.
Mostly, I just love how I can set it up myself in 20 minutes or so!
Yeah I get that. The wall tent is a lot more work, but for xtended hunt really nice.
Hi Trent !! Love the channel!! How do you like your Ellis Tent ?
