In many English speaking cultures the word college is used to mean something else than a vocational school. Finland isn't a English speaking culture, or country, so it's even more complicated to really know what college is supposed to mean. Mostly it is however used to mean a education in higher education and not at vocational level. But some vocational institutions seem to use the word college as in vocational college in their English marketing material. The official Finnish names don't use the word college or anything directly translatable to it. The Finnish name ammattikoulu means simply professional school, or vocational school.
