Hello John, thank you very much for your videos, they have been extremely helpful. I would like to share my experience; I started learning Tarot just about a month ago, it's been a interesting journey since looking back on it I realize all my structured plans to learn it ended up changing every day. I was surprised at how rather than me trying to control my learning I ended up letting them allow me to move forward at a specific pace that was not under my control. Your recommendations on observing the pictures and understand the story has been paramount for me. I also started a little notebook with my notes on the cards and this has helped internalize the knowledge and allow new information to come up for me every time the same card comes up again. Telling the story they show becomes easier and easier every day, and it is really eye opening. So for all this, I thank you very much, since it is your kind lessons that have made me accept the journey and not try to control it.
I got a tarot deck a couple of months ago, havent touched it too much as I've no idea how to use it and there are so many books out there. But something about this man calls my attention, so I'll follow my intuition and see what happens
I love the reference to Saturn suggesting the need for structure and starting a workbook. I've started one on your videos. I'm so excited to learn that one idea per day will be hard. I can, however, see the benefits. Thanks so much for your videos. I really find them helpful.
This video, especially, resonated with me for a very particular reason. I've been reading a book called 'A Writer's Time: A Guide to the Creative Process from Vision through Revision', by Kenneth Atchity. As a creative writer with the common obligations and concerns of everyday life, I've been struggling with the creative process. We have this tendency to talk about 'my process' and 'your process' as though everyone exists in some insular little bubble of creativity. This has some truth to it; some people will work better late at night, others early in the morning, for instance. But what Mr. Atchity has opened my eyes to is the universal dimension of the creative process, that is, among other things, how our minds work to translate unconscious and intuitive experiences, imagery, and knowledge into the shared language of the conscious, material world. Looking back, I can't help but think about your 'The Tarot Process' series. This series set me on a similar path of discovery-- or, rather, of priming myself to be discovered by those intuitions and sparks of thought and feeling that inform our worldviews and shape our ability to act as interpreters of the "divine" (I use this term loosely and inclusively), whether we're doing so as spiritual leaders/mediums or artists and various types of creatives. These ideas about the creative process and the tarot process have been converging in a way that allows me to explore my own mind and its relationship to the world in which it's embedded in novel ways. One of the most important things I've been learning to do in recent times is to put a project down and allow time for mental gestation. The more I do so in a conscious and disciplined way, the more all the ideas and experiences that life endows me or confronts me with enter into dialogue, and the more things (like elements of stories I want to write or my understanding of tarot cards) begin to take shape. Unfortunately, I can't say my productivity has seen a huge boost yet, LOL, but that, as Michael Ende said, is another story and shall be told another time.
Excellent John, very helpful. There is good sound logic to learning one meaning each day and as you say, from there the information looks for you. Really enjoying the series, thanks.
The wheel of fortune for Adam and The Tower on Eve, The yin yang ☯️. I just found your channel John and I am so grateful for you. One of my favorite parts of the videos is the way you shuffle your cards at the end and wrap them around in that cool cloth! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion.
How did you get the 1414 for Adam? Or how did you get those answers? Or is it more intuition? How or when is a card reversed? When you shuffle them and put them back, aren’t they all upright? Or is there some drawing methods where you purposefully place them reversed? Or is it more synchronous where you shuffle and a card falls out and it’s reversed? Thank you for your videos
For Adam 1414 question. Mr Ballantrae said that he used Cheiro Numbers - it's numerology system, where every letter is related to number from 1 to 8. There are also few different styles of shuffling where you can get reversed cards. For example you can shuffle by laying down all cards on the table and just moving them freely on the surface. You can also shuffle normally and just purposefully put cards in reverse now and then while you intuitively feel like this is right.
'M isn't the fourth letter, but it has a value of 4. You will find a list in the description below of values for each letter and that is what I was using. I'll be explaining more in future videos, but this is not the so-called Pythagorean system where A is 1 and you go up to 9 for I and go back to one again for J.
Best Tarot teacher! Thanks for your uploads they are so appreciated !

I love this way of approaching the cards! Thank you so much for your wisdom.

Thanks, John. I'll definitely get a copy of your book 🙏🌹
Thank you for the lesson
Is there a print copy of your book available?
Hello, basic question from this side. Why the letter "v" corresponds to the number "6"? Best regards.
How did you get the 1414 for Adam? Or how did you get those answers? Or is it more intuition?
How or when is a card reversed?
When you shuffle them and put them back, aren’t they all upright? Or is there some drawing methods where you purposefully place them reversed?

Thank you for your videos
