I’m so shocked that you and your sister are backing this company!! As a Christian woman, listening to this worldly gynecologist, explain her product in the most nasty explicit ways. You would sponsor anybody that’s going to give money to your channel I guess?? You’re such a sweet, godly woman. Why would you want to promote this woman’s agenda and the nasty way she does commercials herself. I’ve literally had to delete her commercials off of my TH-cam, because of the indecent way she says things, not wanting my young girls to hear them. Totally shocked that you would want to promote this type of behavior. This woman is lewd and disgusting. Please consider what you are lining yourself up with, and asking other people to purchase from a very ungodly company!!

I'm so happy to have come across this video now, I'm a first time Mom of a 6 week old and I have also been so stressed over the sleeping and scheduling like you said you were with your first.. I also love baby wearing and that's all my baby wants, as soon as I try to lay her down she just wakes up. I'm sure it's hard to respond to all the comments, but if you would have a chance, I'd love to know how you did the sleep training when your children turned one year old. Thank you again for sharing your experience...

I baby wore each of my last 3 kiddos during church and sometimes during daily activites, but i found that my back got sore sometimes. I also worried while cooking about the oil splatter or heat from opening the oven. Loved the cosyness, though. I even walked my kids to school in the winter and wore my infant inside my coat. She loved it and slept every time.

I cannot tell you how encouraging and helpful videos like this are to us new moms. I just had my second baby, my oldest is 2, and I already am expediting the truth of these things. I was crazy and stressed with my first, especially when it came to sleep. Now I just wear my baby, nurse him to sleep, nurse on demand, keep it simple. Newborn life is so, soooo much more enjoyable this time!! A lot of that is thanks to you and your sister’s advice!

My first son was very premature, bad reflux and breathing issues he was with me 24/7 for over a year, could even nurse him in my baby wrap , absolutely no regrets, he was a great sleeper and would sleep anywhere , even in very noisy environment. I did what gave me less anxiety. They are small for such a short time. Enjoy every minute . I didn’t use books or apps, I asked a mum with lots of kids . 🐨💗

I don’t think you can ever spoil a baby, the more love and cuddles and mothering as I call it the stronger more outgoing confident child that grows from that love imo xxx

You can't spoil a baby, they need ample love and affection, but when women entered the work force, that maladaptive belief system surfaced, not because it's what was best for the baby but because it was what was most convenient for the mother.

Mom of 6 grown children....grandma to 18 and counting. I did not wear my babies or Co-sleep. I had excellent sleepers and I never experienced stress over sleep for my babies. Each Mom finds her own way with her children and I admire & respect that. What works for one may not work for another and that is a beautiful thing.
I don't sweat small stuff as each day comes with its own toils.....however I must say that I was shocked when you climbed up on that chair wearing your baby. Chairs are not stable in so many ways to be standing on just for yourself but to be wearing your baby and be up there is pretty perplexing in the least. You're a great mama and I know if something unfortunate happened you would be forever anguished. Please, Please invest in a sturdy foldable stool and please NEVER wear your baby when climbing up on ANYTHING. You've got more Mama common sense than that.

❤ The beauty of having babies is that you can raise them as YOU see fit! Don’t worry about what any one else says or how they do it. When they’re adults you’ll see the rewards of how you raised them! Mine are in their 20’s and make me smile. I tell them “You didn’t come with a manual so I was winging it”. Lol😂

I know, I have asked in the comments before if she was worried about the circulation of the legs when they hag out. I wished this was more of a thing when i was raising my children. My daughter was a premie and I wish there had been someone to encourage me to "wear" her. My husband said I could do what ever I wanted with how we raised them but it was a resounding "NO" when it came to co-sleeping.

I agree with your method of baby wearing. I am a Mom, Grandma and now Great Grandma and I have never been a fan of whatever this sleep training is with a little baby. I remember my Mom telling me I am spoiling my new born baby, by rocking them until they are asleep, I should lay them down awake and let them cry to sleep. No way... I never thought that was right. I wish they would have had the baby wraps when my children were babies. You cannot spoil a baby by holding, rocking and cuddling them. They always end up at some point sleeping all night in their own beds. The baby phase goes by so quickly, Enjoy it.

My daughter "wore" her second baby. He is now 10 years old and still sleeps in her bed, in bodily contact all night long. And no, he is not autistic or any other disorder.
It can definitely be overused. And I cringe when I see moms wearing their babies while climbing chairs, cooking, or using the oven.

Baby-wearing for the first year of their life should be obligatory! Babies need a constant contact with their mum. Thinking about schedules for naps, etc. is so old backwards thinking from the 50s when we didn't know anything about babies' mental development! Bravo Laura, for being a great example for new mums! 👏 ❤

I do understand your decision and desire to babywear and I really think it’s great. However, every time I see you climb a ladder or get up on a chair with the baby I just cringe. The first time I saw you do this I audibly gasped and my husband asked me what was wrong. It was when you got up on the rocking chair to get to the plant. Oh my. I’m a nurse and I know the many injuries that could happen to both of you if you fall. Please reconsider this. I’m not trying to be mean or rude or tell you how to do things, I’m just really concerned for both of you as accidents do happen.

I was wearing my 2 month old grandson on a walk and I was being very careful. Totally out of the blue (I guess they are called accidents for a reason), I happened to step wrong on some uneven ground and fell. It happened so quickly. It was absolutely terrifying. I will never forget the look on my husband's face as he tried to get to us in time to catch me. Thankfully I had enough presence of mind to put my arm up to protect his head and try to roll to the side as much as possible to avoid landing on him. I had a deep gash in my arm that took months to heal, but better that than his head. He was startled but fine. I will never forget that. I was traumatized. I never wore him again.

I have to admit I cringe when you bend into the oven. My mind just goes to the what ifs.

@@elizabethsmith6952 That’s absolutely true. It was mostly the rocking chair thing that bothered me most, I don’t think anyone should use a rocking chair as a step stool, no matter your age or situation, imho. Again, I’m not trying to tell anyone what to do, I guess I just wanted to bring awareness.
