Also I'm planning on getting a stryfe to!

Hey Drac, I usually replace the metal rod in the charging handle with a length of all thread that is slightly larger than the original then simply thread on both handles, stays when you want it to and comes off every time you want back in!

The only issue I've ever had with my immortal kit is that the head of the plunger that catches has worn down slightly. Disassembling and just turning the head slightly fixed the issue and I havent had it since however. Just use both hands so it primes right and it will treat you well
Looks like my Goodwill gets a lot of the vintage blasters in according to the worker I spoke with. I got a few from the 90s the other day my first time out.
I've just installed this kit into my blue longstrike with 10kg turf spring, hit 140-150fps with ease using ACC 3 darts. The kit definitely brought the longstrike back to life.
@@shinism-7546 I don't have the immortal kit, but from one of the dude who have it, it could only use full length and get around 90 to 100fps. Without brass breech the immortal kit, this stefsn kit beat it in fps completely.
I'll be honest, I gutted one (regular version) and turned it into a 2-stage flywheeler. I should revisit it since this was done a few years ago before the motors were this tuned up. That said, I left the springer internals intact because there weren't any good ways to push the darts into the flywheels back then (before the advent of the affordable 3d printer) that would easily fit into the shell. I also ended up using thread rod, a few nuts, and tape to make a new priming bar. Seeing this video reminded me I had a modified long strike and that I can probably redo a lot of its internals.
I bought a worker version of this kit back in august and converted my old longstrike into a monster. It was my first ever mod and my only issue is that damn charge. It doesn’t like to prime whatsoever.
I had a dream that Worker made a easy Sniper Kit for the Jupiter. An extended barrel with a “suppressor”. A nice 3x scope and a better spring. The FPS was about 120-130. To me that would be awesome but probably would the most deadliest Rival. C’mon Worker or Drac see this comment! Please
If you want to fix that priming bar you can put a few smaller rubber bands around where the broken Clips used to be, just something I found that worked very well cuz I had 2 out of 3 clips left
Hullo Drac, I understand this is a late comment and you're a busy man. But I was wondering if you knew what spring was used in this video. Is it a 7kg spring or maybe a 5kg spring? The fps is quite low and the highest spring load I've seen for sale is a 9kg, and if you used a 9kg spring in this video I would be shocked!

Theres a direct plunger version of the longstrike on Amazon and its bolt rod screws on and off instead of having to use a claw hammer to pry it off. Id love to get a sealed breech mod kit for it or maybe try my hand at making one.
funny how I have the blue longstrike but since it sucks I let my neighbor have it (even tho he doesn't use it and just has it on a hook in his garage.) and I feel bad so I might make him give it back since it was my first nerf gun.
Easier solution for your bolt handle (for you maybe not others) is to grab same guage of metal, thread up both ends and either 3d print with a metal nut installed a new set of handles or better yet get someone to mill up a couple of metal bolt handles and tap the ends of them to screw on to the metal you threaded
I'd love to get the Longstrike internals, drop'em into a custom-made AWP shell and pop an actual optic on it. Then get a Stryfe to sub and a Nerf machete.
Maybe a real steel bolt action utilizing a ball joint instead of a straight pull bolt action system. But otherwise a great build and I totally agree with how cool the longstricke is!
Blasters have no functional need or use for "bolt action" style priming because they don't have locking lugs on the bolt, but if you want to really feel like a real sniper, there is a Worker kit for the retaliator and a 3d printed blaster called the "Cynthia"

Why are you still calling them clipazines? They actually are magazines and I’m not wrong by saying this. A magazine uses a spring to feed the bullets/darts into the blaster/gun. A clip doesn’t use a spring.

im very sad to see this kit no longer available. I have a longstrike laying in deep storage myself that sadly had its internals lost in a move I did. at the time I couldn't really just spend money willy nilly on nerf stuff but with disposable income now I wanted to return to the blaster and finish it. Shame Orange Modworks and it seems also this kit are both no longer available. I wish they'd return or someone could get me in touch with someone that has a kit for this so I could actually finish this almost 6 year old project

Hello there. I recently did the same mod in my Modulus Longstrike and I'm having a problem when I prime it and start to move the bolt back into the frontal position blaster sometimes goes off without me even touching the trigger. Do you know why this is happening? It looks like the catch fails to hold the plunger. I'm trying to figure out the way to fix this behavior. Any advice will be appreciated.
I have the same issue. From opening up the blaster, it looks like the catch barely holds back the plunger rod to begin with. There's only about a millimeter square of material keeping it there.

The new Modulus Longstrike has Elite-style internals, and is much easier to upgrade!
Yeah but it uses these funky double length darts! So buying this kit would still be a good idea even if you have a modulus longstrike
Especially since the priming bar has screws so you can remove it easier without ruining it.

You can make them very easily by cutting full lengths down
Immortal kit has no sealed breech, is hard to install, and does NOT shoot stefans. It fires full lengths.

FYI, worker makes a replacement priming handle as well, so you don't need to get one from your other longstrikes

You ever tried threading one end of the priming bar and slapping a washer and nut on it. Would make it more permanent but less ambidextrous.

I know this is an old video but for the bolt you can use a dye to carve threads into it and finish it with a painted washer and capped nut.

Wrap one layer of tape on the end of the priming rod and it holds much better
It’s seems like the solution for the loose bolt would be to pull it out of the box, disassemble it, mod it, reassemble it, and then install the bolt.

Super glue nuts into the caps of the pusher bar... then take a tap and dye set to the rod and cut threads into it.

Modulus longstrike has a threaded bolt handle. Put one of those in.
The real issue is that so many of use have already shoved an XBZ into our Longstrikes.
