Thistleton Simulated Game Day - South Lincs Wildfowlers 2021

In this episode, we follow a team of guns from the South Lincs Wildfowlers as they get in some pre season practice. At the fabulous Thistleton Shoot nestled in the beautiful county of Rutland.
Its a really fun day, and a great way to spend time outside sharpening up those skills we all call up on during the season.

What is this? Why not use a semi auto? Why not load the gun yourself? So many questions…

@@stefandal We try to make the day the same as a traditonal English game shooting day so generally semi-auto's are not used although we do have some lady shooters who use them. Using a loader allows the shooter to look for the next target without having to look down whilst loading his gun.

Stefan. Believe it or not a semi auto is actually slower reloading that a break action shotgun. I know cause I've tried it.
