    Hot tip :) I just asked chatGPT to write DALL-E prompts for me.... interesting results :) A lot better than I can do! Thanks for the fun videos. super fun watching this all unfold.

    This looks like a total pain. Since you can draw, why not just do it yourself and get exactly what you want man?

    You need to seriously consider getting set up with Stable diffusion locally. Far superior for using as a flexible art colaboration tool. Has img2img and inpainting abilities with the add bonus of making your own models or embeddings for specific things/styles/characters etc. You can doodle a rough idea, give it to it and write a prompt and it will do a really decent job.

      Hey Videvage… I’ve watched a video on installing SD locally it looked slightly complicated, what’s your thoughts on the process and how hard it time consuming it is. I’d really love to train my own model on my own art.

      @@camppeculiar It's slightly complicated at first but once you get running it's very little work afterwards. Time-wise, it probably took me 2-3 hrs maybe to sort it out as someone who knows nothing about how to do it. @TheRoyalSkies has the most concise tutorial on getting setup. Link to his video: th-cam.com/video/6MeJKnbv1ts/w-d-xo.html
      I'll add that getting settled in with SD locally is a bit of a learning process but well worth it. You can use OpenArt to train a model for you at 10$ and download that to run locally on SD. Or alternatively you can train your own model locally if you have a 3080Ti or 3090. I've done some of my own training and it usually takes anywhere from 20 mins to a couple hours. I got results, but haven't been able to land it as good as how OpenArt trained it on the same images I used (You need about 20-30 images to train a model). Highly highly recommend getting familiar with the subreddit groups r/stablediffusion and r/sdforall. All the resources tend to show up there, along with models you can download for looks you can never get using Dalle 2 or Midjourney.
      There is a lot here to unpack, and I can rave all day on it. But I can say with confidence that if you haven't worked A.I Images locally then you're building with blinders on. It's not just the end result of images, its the flexibility that SD offers that the other ones can't. (Also you can hook SD up to blender and generate usable textures now on 3D objects. It's getting that interesting)

      @@camppeculiar I help people install SD locally and train embeddings and models in a discord community if you need help. Its not as difficult as it looks, if your willing to take the time to understand whats going on.

    I'm confused, you aren't creating anything visually. So in effect your not creating comics but the AI is. Not going to lie but this is whack, if you can draw it why don't you?

    Your comic tutorials are really interesting! Plz keep sharing them ❤
    I would also love to see a tutorial on how to edit hands & feet in order to fix the mistakes that AI makes. AI has some real problems with hands & feet, and it’s important to do some image manipulation to the images we generate so we can get results that will look right in comics. The post-processing is a very important part of AI generated art, because there’s often many things that need fixing.

    • @TheMediaMachine
      @TheMediaMachine ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want to fix hands and feet, use stable diffusion. You can erase the hands you got from midjourney in stable diffusion, then just add prompt like "hand holding phone near to head," and then it will fix the hand." Do same with feet. Then it will give you variations and you can take one of these variations to and put it through stable diffusion again and it will make it better. I did that 8 times and it worked, sometimes it's less. Then you can fix it all in photoshop by choosing best one, and maybe even run it all again in stable diffusion with fixed image in photoshop and you get a good solid representation of what you want. Sometimes you don't even need to use photoshop because stable d. does it for you.
