Suggestion: For the poncho with the neck flap lapel, add a small chain along the edge at the end area, add a corresponding small button to the underside at the edge. Using a button in the same color as the yarn makes it hide away or use another that could be decorative. Adding the button allows for the collar to be closed up to keep the neck warm when wanted and allows for a larger opening to help put over the head. Hope this makes sense in my description.
I’m not sure about the size of the pink one, but I would add about 2-5 cm, depending on how much bigger you want to make it. Hope that helps. Thank you for commenting 🥰🧶

So I'm sitting down tonight to do this and I have the same exact yarn, but in blue, same weight, same hook, everything. Very first step: I have 104 stitches, measuring at 21 inches. ???? My yarn feels so thin compared to yours.
@@SparklyOne it is actually better today. I am about 30 rows in. Sometimes the sides aren't exactly straight even though I have the same stitch count. I think I'm just not used to this thin, stretchy fabric. Thanks for the help.

Oh how i wish this had some translations on the terms. I'm from Denmark and we use centimeters instead of inches and numbered hook sizes instead of letters. I'm giving it a try.

Great design! Trying to make it for a coworker who doesn’t want it too long but wants it a littler bigger than her medium size. The original chain determines the width or how long the poncho is?

Hi Maria, I would probably add 5-10 inches, depending on the yarn you use. I suggest measuring from the top of her shoulder and cross over her chest to her mid outer thigh to give you an idea of the length. It’s a bit hard to explain, but hope that helps. Make 1 panel as a test. Keep me posted 😘

Hi Tina 😊 I would make a chain long enough to reach from the top of your right shoulder to the middle of your left thigh and add about 4-6 inches in width & follow the pattern accordingly. Great design! Trying to make it for a coworker who doesn’t want it too long but wants it a littler bigger than her medium size. The original chain determines the width or how long the poncho is?

Hi Maria, I would probably add 5-10 inches, depending on the yarn you use. I suggest measuring from the top of her shoulder and cross over her chest to her mid outer thigh to give you an idea of the length. It’s a bit hard to explain, but hope that helps. Make 1 panel as a test. Keep me posted 😘
I love tis poncho....how many rows will b needed for 5"2...
You could probably make it the same size as mine. I’m 5’’3”. If your are thin, you could decrease it by about an inch. Hope that helps 😁💖

Hi Tina 😊 I would make a chain long enough to reach from the top of your right shoulder to the middle of your left thigh and add about 4-6 inches in width & follow the pattern accordingly. Also, if you use a size 4 yarn instead of the size 3 that it calls for it will turn out bigger. Hope that helps. Keep me posted 🧶😊
