I’m in Korea rn and I can tell you I’ve seen a LOT of cases where the guy is shorter than the girl, or that short guys date shorter girls. In the US I’ve seen it too, but a bit less often. (Assuming this is the type of person you’re into). And personality plays a HUGE role, so much so that many people don’t start having attraction, even to conventionally physically attractive people, until they get to know them and/or some event causes them to be seen in a different light. Plus I’ve found that people’s tastes are wildly different. My friends and I have disagreed on what we find attractive and I’ve met people that prefer or don’t prefer all of the following: bald, hair color, beauty marks, tanness, sharp jaw, facial hair, tattoos, dry humor, hand size and shape, like literally everything is debatable when it comes to attraction
