Vehicle thieves walk into the dealer and took the key and drove off with the vehicle. Our Secunda agents alerted us that vehicle is headed our direction. It was with another opposition tracking company. It is not a NoJack client but we went and recovered the vehicle because we knew it was a high powered vehicle that will not easily be caught. The primary tracking company was notified of the recovery and was grateful for the assistance. The police were very fast and extremely helpful. Crime affect everyone and it takes all of us to stand together to fight it in our respective ways. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

South Africa is one of the countries that has the highest hijacking rates in the world . Most of you guys won't agree with what these guys are doing but I can guarantee you that they doing a hell of a better job than what the police are doing . These guys are way more helpful . Took the police almost a full hour just to respond to a home invasion in my neighbourhood and the police station is literally 5 minutes away

I've been jacked at gunpoint in Texas. Police didn't take long to show but by that point the jackers already crashed and abandoned my car, and they were on the loose for a whole year before they finally got arrested.
So awesome seeing the work Nojack puts in.
My truck got broken into and they stole my wallet and 2 of my guns. Thankfully my dash cam caught the interior view and I was able to get the whole thing and he was showing his face completely. They also got his car’s license plates from the car wash where he tried to swipe my cards at 2 am (idk why of all things he tried using a car wash) and they ended up arresting him 4 days later and didn’t come out for 6 months since he couldn’t afford bail with about 12 charges he racked up just from my break in. He kept whining to the police that he never did anything, it wasn’t him, and that they can’t do their job right because they had the wrong guy. I ended up on a zoom court meeting and I showed the footage of his face in my truck and now he owes me about $5k in damages or my stuff back, which he got rid of a long time ago 😂

Same here in Texas. They showed up 11 hours later. I was robbed at gun point. Tried my car but it's a manual. So they took a bunch of other things

This guy is a really good driver. You can see how aware and careful he is with his surroundings, other drivers and pedestrian, slowing down for potential people pulling out or changing lanes.
Plus that's efficient driving, going 90% as fast as balls to the walls, but also being 90% safer, even offroad you could see he was managing the car to not damage it too much.
he pretty bad on the dirt tho hitting massive holes especially in a low car like that you can damage the sump or cause other major issues.
@@patrickgrimaldi5790 while I agree, he has reasons to do that, swerving holes can cause the tires to kick out on him especially on dirt, it's a bit of an iffy situation, one way will damage your sump and the other way might cause you to spin out or possibly even roll

Yeah those potholes were brutal, I was surprised at the speed the car picked up on the dirt road and how well the stock suspension held.

Usually cops use NIJ IIA or IIIA standarded vests, which are slim enough to be easily worn under the uniform.

basslover352 True to a point, but in general idont think the EA888 in the Golf R have a problem with this. Its the Turbo that gets unusually hot in those. I own the 2017 GTI Clubsport myself (with same engine, turbo & power). And iv pushed it alot harder, but always warmed up first (also got engine heater at winter :)
3DFX Yea, I give my a car a few moments and then drive slowly. After 10-15 mins I'm comfortable going wot and high rpm.
3DFX Overboost doesnt count . your clubsport is 195kw
letting a turbocharged vehicle cool down after pushing it is just as important as warming it up ;)
Tristan golf r has a second waterpump which pumps coolant through the turbos even when the engine is off

Gewel Driving quickly is really not hard... Just use common sense about road conditions, and make sure not to carry excessive speed. If you are relying on your brakes to haul you down from speed you're going to fast.
OspreyBravo18 not true if your in a automatic. You have to use brakes regardless. But manual sure. In automatic you have to see things far ahead of time on order to not use brakes and let the transmission lower itself in gears. Ain't nobody got time for Dat.

You have obviously never owned a Range Rover. You are lucky if you can get it to start and it would never last long enough to use a tank of fuel. I had two they spent longer in the garage being repaired. And yes they were new. Never again Not even for free.

That car has the same horsepower as my FBO G35xS, maybe a little less than mine with the mods I have on it... Still it weighs 300lbs less, & definitely moves. With some weight reduction & the right tires, I bet they would make amazing little rally cars & track cars. I love the exhaust note also! They were driving that car with skill, too.
Really sad to hear it's not the real exhaust sound. Atleast my VQHR makes all of its sound out of the pipes. Why would anyone *want* pretend exhaust noises is beyond me.

Those potholes are going to do damage to the suspension of the Golf after a while but it's a good video, Good job.Did you guys get the 4Motion/DSG package?
Those potholes won't do damage to any car. Cars are designed to withstand much bigger potholes than those. that's why bump stops exist, even if the suspension bottoms out (which it didn't in this case) there's no damage. Generally the suspension will never get damaged before the tires pop or the wheels shatter, the worst that can happen is you will get your wheels out of alignment. You could literally hit a 10 cm high curb at 70-80 km/h head on and the suspension won't be damaged, you'll just pop the tire and maybe damage the rims. In fact that's what cars have to be able to withstand for safety standards. VW tests them at above 100 km/h against standard road-side curbs in Europe. It takes far more to damage the suspension than people think.
Derbigpr500 You clearly don't understand Suspension and this car. I work on cars as a hobby. Your suspension is held on by a few bolts and boots. When it degrades the suspension will start giving problems. His driving on a dirt road with huge potholes and rocks. VW also test them on Test Tracks not normal roads. They also don't test the suspension with potholes to see when it gives in. This golf is 4 motion so the back wheels can get damaged as well. The wheel allightment/Camber will only go out of setting when you hit a huge bump/pothole. That's not the only thing that can go wrong. VW has al their fuel filters/fuel lines/Brake lines exposed under the car. Any rocks can cut through the pipes. This is a city car, Not a offroad. City summer tires as well not offroad. So everything is on the suspension.
Derbigpr500 hit a curb at 70-80km and no damage? I have seen people crash in a 7R before at lower speed and it was almost completely wrecked.
Viewing the suspension will be fine. Most likely the vehicle suffered no damage except it maybe a little misaligned
3.0 Amarok sounds like fun 😄 good work on the recovery, although there was a white vehicle which sped off ahead of you just as you arrived, was it not worth a chase to find out who is in that vehicle? seeing as its such a rural plot.

It's a Golf 7R dude, They barely run out of Gas. The DSG gearbox helps with fuel efficiency along with the turbo.

Well, Volkswagen wrapped these golfs with forced induction which at the end of the day saves a lot of fuel.
It's a 2.0 TSFI so they are not heavy on fuel.
It's a small 4 cylinder If it was a bigger engine like a boosted VR6 or other bigger engines it starts to drink under boost. They don't drive 230kph the entire day, These videos are just short clips of how their days actually go.

Who are these guys in the 'Anti- Hijacking Unit'? Are they sworn police officers? Seems more like a unit supported by insurance companies. Outfit like this , with firearms, and the ability to ignore traffic laws would not be possible in the U.S. They would be seen in essence as 'private militia', and discouraged from these kinds of activities. We do have vehicle repossession agents who have license plate readers and other technology at their disposal. Stolen vehicles are 'entered into the system', but given a rather low priority as far as crime goes.
What kind of legal authority and training have they received to perform this kind of activity ?

Because they are paid a premium to do it, and there is an opportunity to catch criminals. And that car would be stripped in minutes, if it doesn't cross the border first

By the time the police can find the location of the car, it will be either stripped or taken to any of the neighbouring countries. As stated at the end of the video. They had already removed the tracker. Car high jackets in S.A are a breed of their own.
