- Quick and easy crochet pattern to help out preemies and newborns in the NICU. The spirals remind a baby of the umbilical cord and give them something to grab on to rather than their wires, leads, etc. For this tutorial you will need:
Worsted weight cotton yarn
3.5 "E" crochet hook
yarn needle
scissors
wooden teething ring

These are the ones I used. They are 1.4 in in diameter.
Is 2” ring too small?
You can definitely try but as always there can be a choking hazard so be mindful of that 😊
