sometimes people do a cover so well it takes on a life of its own , whilst retaining all the vibe of the original . the attention to detail here is uncanny. these lads just get it .
Brings it home to me how good these songs were, brilliant.
I hate the very idea of tribute bands, but that was brilliant! They captured the true spirit of Quo that Quo themselves lost after John Coghlan left, and lost it even more when Alan Lancaster left.
epic! just magnificent, like seeing the boys in the early 70's, totally on point!
Would rather watch you than the Francis Rossi Quo tribute band, because you sound exactly how the real Quo sounded (or should sound) well done lads!

There are several QUO Tribute bands around Europe and Scandinavia which I've been very impressed by. You can see that these band members really love the QUO! Very intense looks on their faces as they try to get every note right. These guys nail it, bloody brilliant!!!!

This qualifies a point I've been making for a long time, sometimes there's a fine line between being a tribute & the real thing this proves the only difference is luck!!! This is fantastic & they deserve far more than being a tribute to another act!!

Yeah. Very authentic sound. Great attention to detail. For decades people said it was easy music to copy. The tribute bands out there prove it most definitely isn't, as they rarely capture the sound despite their talent! Well done guys, 1975 all over again.

Woo Hoo, what a red hot band doing an all time classic. I saw Quo live when they just released Piledriver and this version nails it. Should be the National Anthem of Sweden.

Now we're really talking. I seem to remember doing this cover myself sometime in the 80's. Hard one to sing this one, a bit high pitch for my voiceregister..... But this i s great...!

Brilliant! So good seeing my favourite quo song being brought back to life with youth and vibrance as it should be. And just like the original, the drummer concentrating all his efforts on the lead vocal, 'orchestrating the whole of this song from start to finish'. Congrats Mr. Goransson, spud will be proud.

Fantastic drumming .
So close the original sound that I question if some of it is a backing track from the original. If it is them actually playing then they're brilliant. I've listened to Piledriver for almost 50 years so know every song note for note and some sections of the songs sound almost perfect. I would like to see these live so I could erase any doubts. I saw Quo in 75' and thought they were brilliant. Saw them in the early 90's and although good, i thought they had lost the original sound.
