Excellent. Thanks. I’ve just watched Doug’s video from the sound test room from seven years ago. I’m looking forward to playing with this at the weekend. Cheers. Lee
Awesome dude. I have had this app since it was released and messed with it a bit over time, but never really spent the time to really learn it. You have really clarified everything for me. Thanks so much for this video.
Excellent tutorial Mitch, it’s definitely reawakened my love for Sector, I might Live Stream this at some point but I’ll let you know so you can be there to guide me through various bits and pieces 😁
Thanks, I was having some difficulty figuring out how to best use Sector until I watched this. It’s clearly a lot easier to get good beats out of than I thought it was. Love your vids.
Such a fun app. The way to learn how it works is by having only a few notes around the circle so you can see what it's doing. Try to get it to jump from one spot to the one you want it to and play with the probability to see if you can get it to do what you expect. Once you get it, you can have a lot of control. I like to get it to do what I want it to instead of just tapping randomly. One mire thing. Is redrummer a thing or an expression you just made up? Have fun..
that is a good tip on learning the app. and Redrummer is not really my thing. I have heard it before, i think. There is software called Redrum. it would be like Re-grooving, basically taking a loop, and making it your own using its own elements. Sort of like chopping it up and rearranging it in a different groove.
TheAudioDabbler there was once a time when music was simple. It won't be long that we will hum a tune into an app and the app will start creating complex songs based on your simple tune. Why not.

The glitchy stuff is really cool for drum n bass. Especially the extreme glitches with randomness and a fast tempo.
THANK YOU!!!! Great Tutorial.

Very helpful, thanks. I do still use it on occasion, but will now be using it more often 👌🏽😎
Really good tutorial. Many thanks
