Checking into the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel! Traveling From Kyoto to Tokyo + Arashiyama Bamboo Forest

- On this adventure, we spend our final day in Kyoto exploring the Arashiyama bamboo forest, Tenryu-ji Temple, and grabbing some delicious Kyoto street food. We hop on the Shinkansen (bullet train) that takes us back to Tokyo where we check into our Tokyo Disneyland Hotel stay! We admire the hotel, give an in-depth room tour of our park view room, enjoy a buffet dinner at Sherwood Gardens (located in the hotel), and check out Looking Glass Gifts for souvenirs. Next up: Tokyo Disneyland!

Oh wow, what a difference a month makes. Early April should be a good time for you then. The weather was on the cooler side for sure. We had overcast days for majority of the trip and the sunny days we did have were a comfortable high of 70degF. Our first park day (April 5th) was the coldest day of the entire trip. We were searching the park for a jacket for hours haha
