- On this adventure, we spend the morning near the Kiyomizu-dera temple to do some light shopping and try a delicious cinnamon cream puff before transferring to the Arashiyama area. Once transferred, we drop our luggage off at our hotel and grab some delicious lunch with a great view of the Katsuragawa River. Next, we make a trek to Kinkaku-ji Temple, also known as the Golden Pavilion for some great sight-seeing of the temple and surrounding grounds. We then head back to Hotel Kadensho and give a proper room tour now that it is time to check in. We end our night at Mama, an Italian restaurant with a Japanese spin for some mouth-watering pizza!

I just love the Japan videos! I feel like I’m living vicariously through you two! 😊
Thanks so much! 😊🫶
Going back to Japan this winter. This will be our 6th visit but I love watching vlogs to make lists of new shops and places we want to visit. Thanks for featuring souvenir shops!
Visiting Japan 6 times sounds like a dream 🤩
Thanks for watching 😊
I can read your room number. I didn’t forget my Japanese classes! Yay!
One and two are pretty easy cause it’s just one line and then two lines.
Gorgeous room though. I can’t wait to visit Japan one day
That's very impressive! And we hope you get to visit Japan someday soon!
Goshuin are stamps that represent the shrine or temple the priests hand draws that people collect in a special book for a small fee of around 500 yen.
We didn’t know that they were hand drawn by a priest. So cool!
You hotel looked amazing with night noddles and extra pillows. I stayed at the Universal Studios hotel in Osaka and there pillows were like stones. They didn’t have soft pillows, so we had to use towels as our pillows. Did you go to the bamboo forest or Universal Studios?
We did not go to Universal Studios this time, but we'd love to go in the future! We were able to visit the bamboo forest on this trip, it was so cool to see in person. We might pack our own pillows next time if we stay at the Universal hotel 😂
